Top AZ Billiard Finisher at DCC

Who do you think will be the top finisher from AZ Billiards at the DCC?
Does anyone know who finished the highest from last year?

Charlie "Hillbilly" Bryant came 5th in the one pocket event and 25th in the nine ball event in 2005.

I'm predicting he will, once again, be the most successful of all those here on AZB.

Not counting pro's, it was probably ZigZagMaster. He was still alive late Friday evening in the 9-ball. Tremendous showing.

The "South Dakota Kid" Shane VanBoening will be top finisher, no doubt about it.
If HOWARD the DICK enters and doesn't sandbag he has the NUTS. A DICK/BETA final in one hole would be one for the ages. BETA might have more firepower but the DICK's superior knowledge should enable him to once again rise to the occasion.

BETA is Efren's clone right? A Beta version:rolleyes:

I was not considering the pros, just the amateurs that regularly post on RSB. Guessing which pro that would win any particular division would require the services of Edgar Cayce.

Maybe we can keep up with how everyone finishes. I'd be curious to know myself.

second the South Dakota Kid.....maybe he will when the MR Action award???

JoeyA, are you going to be playing in any/all of the tournament? If so, good luck.

Any sign of a of a POW Bender in the near future? If it doesn't get done before you die in about 40 years, I'll buy it from your widow!!!

Dcc

Do we know that the SD KID will be at the derby for sure?If so look for a strong showing and alot of action, i hear his 1h game is coming along quite well. Maybe big nasty or grandpa could fill us in alittle on whats been happening.

Scott, you and your attractive wife, that plays a mean game of nine ball, with the good taste in fine cues, has first dibs on the Pink Ivory Bender.

I am hoping based upon my conversation with Mike Bender that he will be finalizing the POW Bender right after the first of the year. It has been a long wait for me. Knowing Mike Bender, it will be worth the wait.

I hope that when he does finish it I won't be too old to use it. If I can help it, it won't be just another collector's item for sure. :-)

I am trying to get a pass for the one pocket and nine ball disciplines but a lot depends on when the roofing contractors decide to do some work.

BTW, what type of work are you specializing in these days?

Sorry Scott, I typed a little too fast. That note was for "dafunkdawg", not you, but I wouldn't be surprised if your wife was good looking and played pool too. You are second in line on the Pink Ivory Bender.
Warm Regards,
JoeyA
