Tournament coverage

Wake up AZ billiards. I like this website but AZ sucks at covering tourneys.
Just for instants, why do they not have anything about the tourney at the The Pool Room in Atl. Also, why everytime I log on why are the pictures all the same as they were last week. Damn yall need to get on the ball.

Whats stopping you from entering the information yourself?
The tournament listing in these forums are community run. Meaning posters contribute these "announcements" as they find them.

Complaining will do little good, considering you are complaining about yourself.

What a cute avator, Sore_Aintya! The eyes are so full of expression! I love it! :)

The Midnight Madness ring game didn't happen because there weren't enough takers.

Cliff Joyner, Stevie, Shannon, Monica, and Paul Song are still in the tournament. Not sure about who else is left in it. The play begins today at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.

Theres a 9 (could be 10?) ball tournament going down at Hollywood Billiards right now. It's part of a Florida tour.. Not too sure about the details...

I may be part of why AZ billiards sucks at covering tourneys... :(

I think the way it works is that the tournament organizers --pool room owner, promoter and/or tournament director -- phones in or e-mails the details to AzBilliards website.

Sometimes only the results are sent to AzBilliards, after the tournament has concluded.

Other times, updates are sent to AzBilliards while the tournament is in progress.

I'm not sure how quickly the results or updates are posted up on the Main Page, but they are published as soon as they become available in most cases.

When tournaments are in progress, there is so much going on that I think maybe those who are actually on site do not have time to update the media, i.e., AzBilliards. It would be nice if they did have time, but I guess it depends on how busy they are. JMHO, FWIW!

Where'd ya get ur info? I was curious how things were going in ATL. I was planning on attending but sometimes life gets in the way. :(

WOW! The really BIG events get front page. It is impossible for Mike to be at 20 places at once and have a life.

I am sorry that you feel that the coverage is inadequate. Was there a paid representative from AZBilliards there who is not doing their job posting the info? Last time I looked, I was at home, no one assigned me the job.

Is there some other site such as IP, BD, or SB that is covering it and we aren't? I guess your going to have to settle for the updates from the AZB forums. There are a lot of people here that can tell you what you are looking for!

Your tone is extremely insulting. In lieu of Mr. Wilson having personal issues and not being here, I will reframe from what I really want to say, and hope you have a better day tomorrow.:)

All you have to do is tune into your network news on television this evening. Then just wait for the pool coverage.

P.S. - If you find that you are waiting too long, then just check back on AZB in a couple of days - it's not up to the minute coverage (though forum members and Mike H. himself often provide such coverage), but it beats the hell out of anything else I've found on the net.

Not sure what "tone" you are referring to here. I wasn't being rude, harsh or implying anything other then what I thought he was remarking about. In this case I thought he was speaking of the forum area not being updated with every tournament that's available. On that note, I'm sorry you misinterpreted something I typed for something it wasn't, and hope your day is better then mine.

It wasn't directed to you at all, it was directed to the gentleman who wrote the post.. Sorry for this misunderstanding!

I was quoting you because I liked and agreed with what you said.
