Nice out, but it looked like you were banking the four directly to the corner, not playing the nine. Nature of the game though and worked out nicely.
 
I think he lined up the top of the 9B (pointing his stick across the table to measure the # of diamonds) & shot it perfectly. Nice shot! One that infuriates your opponent...I love those!

This is want I thought as well.......but poolrod could have planned it that way. He could have also been planning the shot where his opponent thought he was going to get to come back to the table and then you break his heart by making the 9 early.
 
I'm gonna go out on a limb here (I'm in my tree-house right now)
and say he played the four cross-corner and got a *fortuitous roll.
