What a joke this is, now you have to explain everything for every buyer evidently...................
All Az'rs must go back to school and learn the art of READING ENGLISH !!!!

From the poolhall 1969

Fireside Billiards Binghamton N.Y. 1969-
It is, "Wrong again, pal!" Allen Keal after collecting from Gary Penkowski with Gary complaining that Allen shouldn't be able to just run over him every time.
I apologise for getting involved here but seriously I might take one of those shafts off your hands. I have hit a few with them and they are very nice.
Nick :)

once again as i stated before a deal isnt complete until the buyer is happy. phil contacted me about the so called skinny shafts and i said ship the cue back. phil never sent the cue back to me as he was working on a deal with another az member. never heard from phil again about that issue until today.

Yes, It's known as full disclosure. They are not Eric's(Sugartree) shafts. They are Jerry -R- shafts made with eric's dowels. That is a big difference!

I would agree with you but would add that I believe that the way it is worded LEADS one to believe that they were made by Eric. I probably would have verified verbally with the seller that they were indeed made by Eric due to the ambigious wording.

$200 for a shaft ... my oh my ... and it isnt even a fancy segmented shaft like Predator, OB-1, or a special issue McDermott or Meucci.

I do believe it is time for me to raise MY shaft price from $80 to at least $100 after all I do use more pixie dust than any other shaft maker :D

Seriously, I would do anything to keep a customer happy and that includes refunding after 6 months for any reasonable reason.
Course that WILL effect my future dealings with that customer but it sure wont bring me any bad Karma to give him back his money.
It will all work out in the long run :)

How does $260 which was paid for 2 shafts, become $200 for one shaft?

Dont ask if you dont want to know others opinions.

There was a misunderstanding.
Give the guy a refund and resale the shafts.
If you made them then you can recondition them back to like new.

When I sell shafts that I made they are "WilleeCue" shafts and I do not say where I got the wood unless asked.
The ONLY reason you gave that information was because you thought "sugrartree" would add to their value.
Be a bit more careful next time you use anothers name to add value to what you sell.
You used bad judgment doing that ... do not use it again.
Give the guy his money back.

Now I MADE the shafts? Hell I don't even know how to change tips

I posted my addrerss just send back the unmodified shafts for your money back, how much plainer can that be?

I read a post stating something like they had one shaft left for $200.
I did not quote the post and it seems it has been edited cause I cant find it now. My bad if I wrongly assumed the shafts were $200 each based upon that post.

Short time member, long time browser on AZ. One thing is certain, I don't understand why anyone would believe that a person with a tumultous history of poor dealing would be asked or expected to be stand up on a new deal. A lepoard nor a dalmation cannot change spot patterns, they are what they are. A person is either morale and abides by a high personal standard in all dealings or a flip flop artist to serve their own intrests at a given time. This Jerry Springer like post can re-enforce what we all already know; If you deal with a monkey, you'll be monkied with.

Just read the original sale post. No-where is it said the shafts were not Sugartree made, so when you ONLY say Sugartree in the title and post, it's very easy to mislead some-one. If I say "Ferrari made car for sale" and it turns out to be a VW Bug assembled by a Ferrari tech, I can see where some-one would want their 100k back. It's called deceptive advertising, much like what you see for all those cheap gold coins for sale where they make it seem like it's coming from an official mint, but turn out to be made in some 10sq mile country in the middle of the ocean with 0 collector value. Limited to only 1,000 world wide! Buy in next 30 mins for double your offer! While it's true the post never stated "shafts made my so-and-so" by ommiting the maker you make it fair to assume it was made by Sugartee.
