Trudeau to Anxious Players: Trust Me, The Money's Coming

I was watching TV late last night (or early this morning) and saw him on the Natural Cures infomercial. It didn't take long for me to change the channel out of disgust, let's hope he changes everyone's mind and does what he is supposed to do.

No way dude. That was part of the blurb on the Billiards Digest main page. Maybe the player who handed in the letter has his date/time incorrect on his PC.? :o
That is a good theory- or perhaps the letter was suppose to be released 10/24?

Either way, IMO unless the players are paid REAL SOON and Chicago takes place as planned INCLUDING THE PLAYERS BEING PAID MUCH QUICKER THAN THE CURRENT TURNAROUND, the IPT will go poof, or at least loose US player's support.

The one labeled 10/24 was not even the most recent letter, so I'm not sure what happened with the dates. It was released on the 17th as someone surmised (a week earlier) and the latest one is posted in the IPT forum and was released on the 20th.

dumb quest ,maybe someone has hasked alresady but does that mean no more I.P.T??
The IPT is saying everything is fine and the tour will continue. The rest of us hope that to be true but most of their actions to date prove otherwise.... at this point it's a crap shoot & no one really knows. :(

What I find the most interesting in Trudeau's correspondence is one sentence, namely: "The U.S. Government's new law outlawing online casino gaming presented an unavoidable temporary bump in the road for the IPT."

In trying to come up with a workable business model for the tour to sustain itself, my theory has been that the 'tour' is really just a play to create a global, online sports book for professional billiards and cue sports. Far-fetched for sure, but it could provide liquidity to support those prize funds. Its also rather straightforward to do as far as execution. Most of pool revolves around gambling; it would be easy to sell to pool's audience.

There has been developments on this front recently and I bet investors are re-thinking and are nervous. So he's telling the truth in a sense.

Either way, Trudeau's history speaks for itself. It's unfortunate for the players.

Whoever it was in the IPT forum that said the players arent worried or complaining, should read this. Rodney Morris sounds a little worried to me.
