Here is a very nice , super figured Tulip cue that is nearly complete. Have the ferrules and tips to go.
We went with solid black linen wrap on this one to really bring out the figure in the Tulip wood. I beleive it worked out nicely.
It has black veneer slotted maple rings at the butt and the joints. Black phenolic buttplate and joints. The shafts are 13mm with a pro taper. The pin is a stainless radial. I will finish the shafts off with MPI ferrules and Apus layered tips. will be completed in the next couple days.
Thanx for looking,
Jim Lee

Thanks for sharing, very nice cue, I am certain it will not last long!!

Great Job

Very nice!!!

Jim,

The cue looks great. Looking forward to seeing mine, and I believe many others here will understand what I mean when they see it. Somebody should buy this cue, since It is a beauty, and Jim is a great guy to deal with. Can't go wrong on all sides.

Good luck with the sale!!

Michael

Thanx for all the kind words and support. You endorsement checks are in the mail ! LOL
Thanx,

That's the way tulipwood should look. It's beautifully defined, not washed out.

Jim this is my favorite of all the cues I've seen that you made. I don't know about you but I would of had to already put the tips & ferrules on for a test drive.:)

Thanx Kevin. I am doing that very thing right now! I will have better pics in the for sale forum later. The grain in this looks like FIRE!
Thanx , Jim Lee

Not trying to be critical, but why such thin rings on the shafts? Mind showing a picture of a shaft screwed onto the butt? Also, is that two diff color collars on the shafts to distinguish between the two shafts?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

I use smaller collars for flow. I do not believe in giant collars on any cue. No on the shafts , they are the same, must be lighting. Thanx foor the input and questions,
Jim Lee
