Download from where? Johnnyt

I'll be home shortly and post the exact group.

You have to have a NewsGroup reader to get it and unless you have a provider with a decent newsfeed, you need a news group service such as Giganews.

I don't mess with Torrents or Peer to Peer, those are the kind of people you read about with FBI in the same article :p

I am assuming this movie is already out on pay-to-download services, so the movie makers will get some compensation for the money they put into it?

I'm SURE that's what you guys are talking about. I know you all would not steal from people making a movie that supports the game. :D

I would not assume that you are safe simply because you are downloading from a newsgroup. In most cases you are downloading from your own ISP or a major ISP directly, so its definitely not 100% safe.

There is a risk regardless of the medium you use.

I watched it also... thought it was decent, but thought theend ruined it. Was cool to see one pocket in a movie though.

I am in the music publishing business and must say that the internet and other forms of electronic media are cesspools of copyright infringement...which is theft as you point out.

But the typical consumer could care less that they are ripping off someone they've never met and most would rip off people that they HAVE met as long as they figured they could get away with it.

They wear "beating the system" as a badge of honor.

A huge number of the youtube videos (any other such sites) of televised pro matches are copyrighted and ripped off totally illegally.***

Rep to you for caring. Many would laugh in your face and will ridicule this post. But to all those people....that's cool...just know that you are thieves and live with that as you see fit.

Regards,
Jim

***NOTE: It is not illegal to view a youtube video. What is illegal is UPLOADING them without a license to do so from the copyright owner.

It is to those people this post is directed.
