In this case it's easy to tell - single elimination tournaments don't have a "left half" to their brackets.

Just got a call from Frankie White who is on site at Turning Stone.

I was going to provide some updates, but I see that the brackets are already updated quite nicely on AzBilliards Main Page. ;)

Frankie is getting ready to go sweat Stevie Moore and Mika Immonen's match. He said he's looking forward to seeing a good old Southern boy play, and that, in fact, there are plenty of excellent match-ups!

Keith got to chat with Jose Parica on the phone, exchanging a few horse stories (LOL). It turns out that Jose, like Keith, has caught the poker bug too. He said he's going to be playing in the World Series of Poker in Vegas, already signed up! :p

Well, that didn't take long. The datasource that I set up for the brackets brought the web server down. It is back up and the data has been moved to a more robust database. Hopefully that won't happen again.

Of course, Alan Duty truly is part of my home team, hailing from good ol' Virginny! :p

Alan is a pitbull when he's competing and never gives up. He will fight all the way until the last ball drops. If Alan is playing his game, Santos don't have to like it! Santos, though, is comfortable in this type of environment. Whereas, this may be a more formal setting than what Alan is used to.

I am very happy to see Alan Duty at this event and wish him well.
