Pick the winner
You are correct JAM.., the WPBA will be at the Gateway Convention Center in Rocky Mount, NC for the Carolina Women’s Billiard Classic, February 21-25 2007.JAM said:Hey, I noticed that there aren't any ladies this time around at Turning Stone. The WPBA must be requiring their attendance elsewhere. JAM

I hope the updates are forthcoming for the inquiring minds back home like me!![]()
This is a very tough tournament to pick a winner because there are some EXCELLENT players who frequent the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour. Of course, add the Filipinos in the mix, and we've got the makings of a wonderful pool tournament.
Because the players are strong on the Joss Tour, it would not surprise me one iota to see a non-name-brand player win the whole shebang. It's happened before, and it could happen again. Those New England players have no fear and take no prisoners.
The Turning Stone Casino accommodations are EXCELLENT. Each player should be comfortable and will be ready to give it their all. I looked at the list, and it really is hard to pick a winner. When you are physically at the Turning Stone Casino, you can see who's hitting 'em good, who may be feeling under the weather, who is fighting with their significant other, who has had no sleep because they were gambling in the casino all night long, et cetera.
I put my money on Marlon and "Someone Else." I'm usually a pretty good handicapper, but this tournament is very tough to pick a winner.
May the best player win.

It's a tough bet..every time there is one player who no one thought would make a run till the end..
It happens every time..

JAM said:We're actually doing just GREAT. We decided to take a break from pool for a spell, and I have never felt so well rested in my life. The tournament trail had really taken its toll on me the past 5 years. I'm going to be 53 next week.![]()
There is no place like home, and I am happy. Keith has discovered Internet poker, and he's in action, so he's happy too!![]()
I hope you enjoy the show!![]()
