Turning Stone Classic XXXIV 9-Ball Open January 6-9, 2022 PLAYER LIST

Bucky doesn't "have" to lose to anyone (he's beaten Shane, Earl and Oscar there...to name a few). When he get's his confidence up and some lube in his elbow, he's a very dangerous player. On average though, he's an underdog to the top 20 so the probability of winning the whole thing is pretty slim.
Yeah I would put him up a little higher than that but we will see

Bucky is having a great year on the Joss Tour, but he figures to be overmatched in this spot. He is capable of a top five finish, but anything higher than that would really surprise me.

Bucky has a shot against anyone, but he'll be an underdog against about twenty different players in this field. Winning in this spot is just too tall an order. My prediction is that he'll finish tied for ninth.

That said, it would be a great story if he made a deep run and I wish him the best.

That’s a very fair assessment and I agree with you but since he’s a regular in my room I have to pull for him. At any rate I love the stone and no matter what happens it’s always a great time with great friends 😊

According to Fargo ratings, there's 19 players ranked higher. If Shane would have shown, he would have been an underdog against exactly 20. Still, with a good draw, being on the weak side of the chart, and one or two upsets along the way, I think his best would be 3rd. Bucky is a good guy, I'd like to see him do well.

Chinahov, Deuel, and Thorpe didn’t show either.

That's cool,
can see a couple of tables.
earl is in the second round,
a 421 won 9-2 over a 625, haf to see if he makes another round

Whoever it is won't be a 421 for long ;)

They probably got the wrong John Schott. One of them is a 421, the other is a 693.

There seems to be a low-level league player John Schott from KY and another John Schott (from NY) who entered International 9-Ball a couple times. He's mid 600s after just 60 games.

This recap we did last year may be interesting to some
