Does anyone else have a problem trying to view the first bracket (players 1-64)? I click on it but get a blank screen.

The bottom bracket works.

So who did ya get?

Works for me. I have #15 in Joe's contest, Karen Corr.

Okay, just for that, you have to publish who got what players, 1-64.

I was so excited to see the brackets on AzBilliards. I'm thinking, well, I am here, and I don't know who's playing who. The players meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the first round begins at 4:00 p.m.

Poor Diamond Pool Tables suffered a loss when every single one of the BEAUTIFUL overhead table lamps were damaged en route to New York. Greg Sullivan didn't let that hold up the show. He had to have some other overhead lamps shipped overnight, which are now hanging and doing the job. I really do like those overhead lights. They seem to showcase the table better, and I think the players like them too. Thanks to Greg, he saved the day.

I saw some homeboys here, Alvin, Tommy Kay, and Jerry Slivka. Parks and Sweet Jennifer are supposed to come to Turning Stone this weekend to enjoy the festivities. I can't wait to see everybody. I love this place.

The thing that is cool about Turning Stone is that everything is under one roof, like a little city. The staff here are GREAT, and they love pool players. Outside in the front hallway, there are 25-foot posters of the feature players that Mike Zuglan selected to be on the "official" poster for this tournament, Shawn Putnam, Johnny Archer, Jennifer Baretta, Ralf Souquet, Karen Corr, and Jeanette Lee. I saw George Breedlove with his beautiful daughter. He sure does look very happy being a dad.

There's a full field, I know that, but I have no idea who is playing who. Marlon Manalo was practicing with a young boy, as spectators and fans were requesting to take his picture. He's so polite and always accommodates the fans. Marlon is a class act.

Keith is practicing alongside Allen Hopkins, both of them hoping to get in stroke. Tony Crosby is also practicing dilligently. Tony, like Allen, has been on the tournament trail non-stop as of late, Vegas, Valley Forge, IPT Qualifier in New York, and now Turning Stone. Then in a few short weeks, they will be back in Reno.

Well, that's about it for now. Just thought I'd check in. Will report more later.

I've had the same problem since early this morning, when I emailed Mike H. to alert him of the problem.

I like it when they do things like that to promote the tournament and the players. Jennie, take a pic of them please. :)

I was hoping that I would finally make it up there for this event. (sigh) Maybe the next one. :(

So friendly around here! ;)
I posted all 128 players and their corresponding number in Joe's Contest thread.

Hi Barbara, I was having the same problem. I'm coming across this often these days but I have installed netscape as a backup and sure enough when I can't open or see the information while using IE I switch over to netscape and i'm ok. I had the same problem with the new Cuetable using IE but no problem with netscape. Terry

If he does get a Bye, at least I have a better chance than Rossaroni. If my guy wins, I'll split with Rossaroni. LOL

The 1st round started at 4:00PM

I couldn't get the top bracket earlier today but now I'm getting it. I don't know if everyone is or if it's because I'm on a different computer now. Both computers use internet explorer.

Timberly, you gotta try to get up here whenever the chance avails itself. I understand how difficult it can be to pick and choose which pool tournament to attend. Us working gals do have difficult decisions to make sometimes.

I will definitely snap some pictures. Right now, Keith is playing a gentleman named Isaawicz (sp). Allen Hopkins plays his match at 8:00 p.m.

Milkshake Mikey is playing none other than Jennifer Baretta at the time of this writing. I got a chance to speak to Jennifer earlier in the day. She really looks beautiful in the poster they have out front, but she's also just as pretty in person. Of course, now she's glowing even brighter because Jennifer told me that she's expecting a baby boy, and she's beaming and so happy. I think she said her due date is in December.

Right now, Ryan McCreesh is on the clock for his match. I haven't seen him here since we've arrived. I hope he makes it.

Mike Davis versus Dennis Hatch is the feature match of the day. What a tough draw for the very first round for each player. Whoever comes out on top is anybody's guess. Both players are known for the powerful 9-ball breaks, but, of course, on the Joss Tour, you must break from the box. I think whoever finds their "sweet spot" on the break will win this one.

Shawn Wilkie and Matt Krah are also enjoying themselves, each competing in the tournament. Matt just won the tournament at Valley Forge, and Shawn is coming off a Planet Pool 9-Ball Tour win.

I was disappointed not to see Julie Kelly here. Karen Corr told me that Julie is competing in an IPT qualifier this coming weekend in Chelmsford. It was a tough choice for her to make, but she ended up choosing going to Chelmsford.

I met one of the most prominent Native Americans who came to visit the Joss tournament today. His name is A. Ray Holbriter (sp). He was gracious enough to let me snap his picture. He's a leader in the Indian Nation world, and it sure was a pleasure meeting him. Driving back from Vegas, I bought quite a few Native American items. One of them was my hand-bead shoes. Mr. Holbriter immediately noticed them and complimented me. We chatted about a few current events, and I gotta tell you, it sure was GREAT to meet him.

That's about it for now. I'm going to run back in the tournament room.

The b!tch of it is that I could've made it to this one. I couldn't swing it on my own and my choice of roommates is limited as there are very few that I would trust to room with. ;) Less than a week ago I gave up on going up there, made other plans, and then got a phone call. Just my luck. It's ok... I'll be spending the weekend at the beach so not all is lost.

Mike didn't play his best at the IPT event and I think he let that get into his head for a little while. Hopefully he's gotten past that and he and Dennis will both put on a good show. It's Mike's turn to win... Mike owes Dennis one from VF. :p

I understand a few of the players that were originally supposed to play in this event had to back out of it because of them playing in a qualifier.

You can't just leave it at that... now you have to take a pic of the shoes too! :D

As always, thanks for the updates Jennie. :)

Thank you Timberly. I think it's fixed
