Turning Stone - What's With The Canadiens?

And yeah, some the the canadians had a US flag next to their name, not sure why, I assumed it was a data entry error..
 
Have to give a huge congratulations tip Erik.Hjorleifson on this Turning Stone showing. He played one of the best matches of the tournament which unfortunately was not captured on video on Friday night. Erik vs Ko Pin Yi. Erik goes up 6-1 with break and runs, I forgot how many, then breaks dry, and Big Ko goes off with break and runs and safety play and brings it to 6-6.

From there it was huge pressure but Erik fought it out to 9-7 sending Big Ko to the one-loss side.

For me that was the match of the tournament, next to the Kevin Cheng win over Dennis Hatch on Saturday night, that was stellar too.

Great tournament by Erik and huge congrats to him.

Agreed, this guy played like a monster throughout the tournament to enter the finals undefeated & fell prey to Mika playing near perfect pool in the final.

Amazing play by him, I agree with your assessment of his match with big Ko, match of the tournament for sheer firepower.

The talent in Canada has been there for a while, the boys are just starting to travel a little more.

Strange, just noticed that Luc Salvas who is also still alive on the B side has the USA flag beside his name. Is this an error or is he claiming USA now?

I'm pretty certain that's an error. He lives in montreal as far as I know.
There was a few mistake like that. Joey Cicero as well.

Pretty sure Luc Salvas is still from Valleyfield...still an owner of Dooly's?
