There sure seems to be a lot of players with maple leaf flags still alive at TS.

Pretty impressive.

Not the least of which are Mario Morra....

...and Luc Salvas...

Your correct there are quite a few that made the short ride down. I am assuming many are from the Toronto area. These guys play very good.

Something tells me pt109 knows all of them:cool:

There are a bunch from Quebec as well - like Hewitt and Salvas. I think Mario and Erik are the only Toronto residents still in it.

Actually, KC might not have been inquiring about the Toronto guys....
...did you see how he spelled Canadians?

Both great cities. Last time I was up there I had no car but was able to walk to the Rivoli on Queen street, wild place for sure.
We had a hell of a time.

What's surprising is the Canadian dollar is trading at .71 USD - the lowest it's been in a while. The Canadians are paying a 40% premium to travel to the US just based on the exchange rate.

True (and don't remind me). But the payout is also that much more.

Paul, I think Brian meant to say.

"Turning Stone - Qu'est-ce avec les Canadiens" ?

Or something close. But, good for them. Maybe they can earn a spot on the Mosconi Team some day.

looks like Mario Morra is set to play Erik Hjorleifson on the winner's side

and on the B side, Hewitt is set to play Shaw.

Strange, just noticed that Luc Salvas who is also still alive on the B side has the USA flag beside his name. Is this an error or is he claiming USA now?

best,
brian kc

Mario lost to Erik last night, 9/8

Sciarco, I have always been a Habs Fan as long as I can remember. One of the highlights when I was playing Hockey as a youngster, got to meet Maurice Richard.

He signed my glove for me. Shoulda kept em, but outgrew them. When you needed more equipment, you sold what you could for the upgrade.

Oh well, his name was getting a bit faded from getting wet.

I knew it was there tho.

Sylvain Grenier
Danny Hewitt
Alain Parent
Luc Salvas
Joey Cicero

are all from Quebec/Montreal area.

I think Eric Cloutier might be as well.
