This might not pertain to just tv matches but I was watching the Challenge of Champions and they were making a big deal about the players sweaters touching the balls while leaning over the table. I know it's all ball fouls so why would they wear those baggy sweaters, just beacuse they say Mohegan Sun and that is where the tournament is. If that is a requirement then that is a joke. Do the other players who are not on tv wear them aslo. It seem's like the $50K prize would be the number one priority, not having the players wear something that could compromise the game. I remember one tv match where Bustamante had a white sweater on that looked like it was two sizes too big. I know you can't wear t-shirts and have to look nice but a nice dress shirt would be way better. Does anyone know if this is something the players have a say in and do they still do this.

The players in that private, invitational event wear whatever the promoter (Matt Braun) tells them to. He is the one putting up the $50K, and they'll wear whatever he wants them to.

Yea I noticed that to I've got my DVR set for Billiards and I did notice hearing Allen Hopkins says that Fong Pang Chao should tuck in this shirt because He was really close to touching a ball , IMO they should request a Med or large not XXXXL , but hey that's not up to me .;)

I doubt they were required to wear sweaters. They probably had a choice of garments - all with the sponsor's logo. It was probably cold and that's why they both chose the sweaters.
