Nice Coco plain jane. I bought four plain jane cogs, all used with 2 shafts. One ebony, 2 bacotes, and one coco. The coco and bacotes had one of the best feedbacks and hits of any cue I ever owned. This was back in 2001, and unlike yours, all of them were "used" well more than an hour before I got them. I played with them and later sold them one at a time on ebay in 2002 and all but one of them brought $1000 selling to U.S. buyers with buy it now. The least I sold one for was $950.00. Even with the softer cue market today, I would hold onto that coco if I couldn't get close to what they were going for in 2002. Joey isn't giving them away for a reason, and like me, you might regret not hanging onto at least one of them.
ps. I have a pro friend that has one with lots of silver in the inlay work he plays with that is drop dead gorgeous as well that he got directly from Joe. He won't part with it and plays with it 100% of the time. He paid about $4000 for it and today it would cost him over $5500 to get the same cue made. Inflation sucks!
