Two NCS Qualifiers in One Weekend in Columbus, Ohio!!!! August 15-16, 2009!!!!!

Registration: 10 AM each day

Players Family Billiards
4380 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio

Entry: $60 for each tournament (9-ball on Saturday and 10-ball on Sunday)

Format: 9-ball, Double Elimination, Race to be determined by TD
10-ball, Double Elimination, Race to be determined by TD

This is a great old school pool hall and should be a damn good time. I encourage anyone interested to call Chad or come on in for the tournament. The NCS is doing great things for billiards right now and is a great organization to throw your support behind. I hope they get more than 3 players to show up. They tried to have one at cfr's about a yr ago. It was a waste of time 1000 added guranteed is what they advertised but of course the 3 players did''nt even get a cup of coffee for showing up. Not a good way to run a tour. Should keep your word or at least make it right for the players who show.

Players is well run and Chad (the owner) is on top of things. All of the Gold Crowns got recovered this week and are playing pretty good.... They have been getting some phone calls and interest in the tourney so I expect them to have a decent field.

We are getting down to the wire for the NCS 9-Ball and 10-Ball National Championships.

Details of the two NCS National Championship Events:

NCS 9-Ball National Championship date Sept. 3-5, 2009
NCS 10-Ball Naitonal Championship date Sept. 5-7, 2009

Max field 9-Ball: 64 players
Max field 10-Ball: 64 players

Payout at the NCS 9-Ball National Championship: $32,000 (with full field)
Payout at the NCS 10-Ball National Championship: $32,000 (with full field)

Host Location: Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

*Only players who won a qualifier spot or should space be available, only those who have participated in a qualifier will be invited to play at the national level.

**The top two finishers from both the NCS 9-Ball and NCS 10-Ball National Championships will receive paid entry to the 2010 U.S Open Championship, which is a U.S Billiard Congress of America sanctioned points event and will have minimally $25,000 added.

The NCS is open to all players, men, women, amateur and professional who are either U.S citizen of permanent resident. There is no membership requirement to any particular league or organization. The NCS is a division of CueSports International (CSI).

Yaaaaa.............I 4 one too but it looks like I bought them at a yard sale. When I took them out of the package they looked like they had been washed about 100 times and they've never been worn. I like the shirts but am extremely disappointed with the workmanship on the printing. Kinda look like seconds that you would buy at a Steve and Barry's.:angry:
 
NCS at Players

Hey Beav or SAW.........Ya think there is any action for a good C player like me at Players? If there is I may drive up from Fairfield sometime this week.

Wish I could be there this weekend, and in that case all the qualifiers around the country :) Hey guys thanks! Is anyone streaming from Players Family Billiards this weekend, would also love pics sent to me from the tourney.

Unfortunately not enough. Its sad that we couldnt even get 12 players to show up for an NCS qualifier. CSI is trying to do some great things for pool and those who love the sport, but they can't do it by themselves. I hope more will show up for the 10 ball tournament.
