Two questions, GCIII if I may ...

I'm about ready to redo my GCIII ( I'm in CT) First question, any suggestions for a mechanic?

Second part, the cushions seem fine although admittedly original, but there was a lug or slate nut (don't know the term used) in the rail that had a broken bolt in it when I got the table. I was able to drill it out and tap new threads in, but the drilled hole was slightly elongated getting the broken bolt out, so I would like that changed. Do I have to change the cushions if that one is removed to replace that lug?

thanks.

Called a nut plate. You don't necessarily have to change cushions but if you're redoing (recloth ?) the table then now would probably be a good time to address the rails and cushions. Best in your area is Jay Spielberg 603-765-6160

Thanks, which cushions do you suggest. I have 760 on it now, but I'm considering 860. I play straight pool or 1pkt.

thanks again!

If you're mad at your money, get Artemis Intercontinental #66, which will set you back around $300.

If you want the best bang for your buck get some Diamond K55 cushions. They are good quality and will work well on your GCIII!

I also would recommend Jay Spielberg, one of the best IMO

Agree with Jack on the Diamond cushions.
Would also say stick with 760 for 14.1 and 1P

Hi,

Thanks for the recommendations guys! I would recommend John Palmer from OTLB. He does great work and is super reliable. Give him a call at
