You could see the relief on Shane's face when he ran out for the win. He dodged a bullet and came through.

When he banked the 1 in the final game, the CB hit the long rail, ran into the 4, and bounced back into perfect shape for the 2 ball. For a moment he had a "OMG I can't believe I got so lucky!" look on his face.

Go Shane.

Minutes after the match Shane walked up to the table and tried a dozen times to roll the CB into the corner hook position Gomez got himself into half way through the match, and he couldn't do it. It was a miracle Gomez didn't scratch on that.

I can't believe I haven't seen any threads on how big of a nit Karl Boyes was in his match with Shannon Daulton

Young Ko appears to be in trouble, down 10-6 to Putnik.

Nick Brucato fell to Sossei

Our own Chris Bruner took 5 racks off Big Ko but lost in the end. :(

Ivaca is being a gigantic goof with his rack analyzing. The guy was over Ko's rack looking at every single little contact for about a minute before he found a tiny gap to ***** about.
