Ugly Fact-

I think the Euros would love to make it a race to 3... and keep their sponge-rails, bring in even more obnoxious fans who have zero class and respect for the game and let's give them every chance they NEED!

Let's just give them the 7-ball... After-all... we're the big bad America that everyone hates and everyone deserves a chance.

And, when it's all over - let's give them a hug and tell them we're sorry.
What's the opposite of Post of the Year?

&.... since the European Players can't seem to win the US Open... (although Darren and Mika won it years ago).... I think we should cartoonize the US Open too...

Let's give them a chance...

Dear Europe,

We're sorry for beating up on you all these years. You have become very good potters and you deserve a hug!

Yeah, back to back twice 2008/2009 2010/2011. You have no idea how stupid you sound do you?

It's official - We're going to make the US Open a race to 2, loser breaks and the Europeans get to bring hundreds of idiots who scream obscenities at the American player while they are shooting.

Drop-pockets.... no worries - no shelf! Sponsored by Kasson! Who?

Not bashing the US, just this "guy"

The number ONE problem for my American Pool players in the Mosconi Cup is their inability to fade the crowd.

Even the very young guys whose nerves are still nice and smooth have trouble with the hooligans hooting, hollering, yelping, insulting, sharking, and boisterous singing and chanting. They get under the skin of our players and they under perform.

Those YOU-RUPP HOOLIGANS have got a heck of thing going on over there and even here in America. They've honed their skills and are some of the best distraction artists anywhere on the planet. THAT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE so don't expect it to.

The 9 Ball on the spot and lack of Americans to perfect the cut break, the lack of 9 ball events on 9 foot tables in America, the loose pockets, the short races, and the lack of American players traveling across the planet to compete in International events are all secondary to fading the crowd.

By saying this I'm not discounting Europe's prowess at potting, safety play, breaking ability and kicking ability. They proved they have awesome skills in all of these areas. A little fine-tuning in kicking and safety play by the Americans and the YOU-RUPPS will find the gap closing rather quickly.

Without professional help (sport psychologist(s) and regularly immersing themselves in a similar environment and similar playing conditions my American players will continue to suffer at the Mosconi Cup.

My American professional players just have to learn how to play better in the Mosconi Cup SPECTACLE.

The Mosconi Cup is a GREAT SPECTACLE but it is not a tournament that determines who are the best pool players. It only determines who are the best players under those conditions and for several events now, Europe has had the upper hand.

Not you too :( this makes me extremely sad. We played like crap, period.

How many world champions are on their team and how many are on ours? Shane cant win a single match in MC.

No excuses, we got our asses handed to us, as we should

All pro-level pool players earned and deserve a level of respect - no matter what nation or continent.

They may-as well have fat girls in bikinis mud-wrestling in the backround and get sponsored by the local dive-pub.

These fans don't act like this in their Snooker tournaments because they'll be kicked out on their sorry, classless asses, and our fans never treated them badly when they were in America.

We should just boycott this cartoon-event until they clean up their act and learn what pool-etiquette is.

If we let it continue they're going to start throwing their broken teeth at the players while we're shooting.

Joey, you've met me 1 time and we went to a tournament where if I ran out they were gonna kick me out(they actually told me that and you know it), while my opponents could run as many rack as they wanted. That was a truly unfair situation. MC is a total slaughter every year, whether in the US or Europe.

A minor correction, but team Europe had 4 out of 5 players with World Championship titles to their name (you might have missed Jayson's World 8b title, videos of which are on youtube).

So that's 80% of team Europe were World Champions, including repeat winners and the reigning 9 Ball World Champion.

Team USA on the other hand, is made of 0% World Champions, isn't it?

Good point, I wasn't thinking about that, only had American pool in my head, but you are of course completely right!
