And it is, by FAR, the minority that supports this farce. The thing is, the people that do support this, get quite violent, and companies/sponsors dont want to touch it with a ten foot pole. So, Who suffers in the end? Women. How much prize money, accolades, scholarships, and opportunities have been stripped from women?

A lot. More than we know.

Like many I'm not here to say men are better than women but that I enjoy women's sports. Its great seeing people dominate or heads and shoulders better than their peers. These people have destroyed it.

Ultimately the women that participate are the ones that determine if this happens or not. No one is making them compete against these men. They choose to.
How to legally get around it? Have an invitational.
I made a post on here years ago about a trans player that was busted at the Vegas nationals for APA. I looked into all of this then. If you have an invitational no one can go after you legally.

There are still a sense of level headedness because they are born a women and much more rational. Even a trans man know better to compete against men.

The extreme or radicalness comes from trans woman. A man has to detach its sexual organs. A woman doesn't go through extremes to become a man. Hypothetically speaking here, since I don't believe you can become the opposite sex.

Hopefully some don't take this comment the wrong way, but I feel the only way this is going to really change is for the women to actually stand up at the start of a competition with a man, and refuse to compete. All this talk of this isn't right, and that isn't right, is meaningless and just lip service. Real women need to have enough self-worth when at the start of an event where they are asked to unfairly compete against a man, to stand together and just refuse. If they stick together and stand firm on this, it will finally change.
Should they have to do this, no, but unless they themselves refuse to compete, it will never fully change.
I'll never forget when a lot of this came about in swimming events and I told my wife it could end tomorrow if all the real women on their starting platforms at the start of a swim meet, just stood there when the buzzer or pistol went off and let the fake female swimmer jump in by himself, but no, what did they all do? They all jumped in and swam for 2nd place. It's wrong that they had to compete against a male, but they also all went along with it and competed for 2nd place then complained later. If they had all stood together at the start and refused to jump in, change would have been made as nobody is going to have a swim meet for one person. The fact of the matter is if women want real change, it can't be to just complain about it but to actually demand it and refuse to compete in their chosen sport where a male has unjustly entered.

I agree. We women should refuse to compete. But yet again, it’s hurting us… We don’t get to compete because this is happening. We’re damned either way.
If I worked my ass off to get to the top of the pile, I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my earned spot to get there in order to make a statement. I would, but I shouldn’t have to.
(While we’re at it, I think we should refrain from bashing the entire transgender community… This is a few people making it bad for all of them.)

You'd be surprised at how many in the trans community have tried and have been shut down on this topic. Hell, my wife's best friend is a gay woman who is married to another gay woman, and they have told us themselves that they want nothing to do with the LBGT community because the people running it are beyond toxic and are not about the betterment of anything but their pockets.

Not just costly - but devastating. As a former college athlete, I cannot imagine working my entire life at my sport only to be forced into losing or making a stand.

Men have been forced to make a choice between unfair competition or not competing too. While a few didn't compete for the most part the men complained and moaned, and competed! It is a lot to ask to expect competitors not to compete. Maybe not in a cheap local tournament but very hard to stay out of big events on principle.

I saw a man in a recent four hundred meter race, hurdles I think. He beat the women by almost nine seconds! He had time to shake the hand of somebody congratulating him then turn around and watch the women finish the race. Perfectly illustrated how ridiculous and unfair it is letting men into women's events. Some events now only require a person to identify as a woman at the moment. Maybe a dozen men showing up in cheap Dolly Parton wigs and lipstick would get the point across!

Female player here. Gender has lots to do with all things physical pursuits… And it’s not just the old testosterone thing. It’s a lot of things males have a competitive advantage physically, mentally, special awareness, etc., when it comes to sports.
(Women have advantages when it comes to survival situations, pain tolerance, and the way our brains work for other things. No need to get into the whole thing. I’m just sick of saying that there’s not a difference between the sexes when there are our countless differences)

In Pool, there are men’s events, there are women’s events, and there are open events open to all. Pool is one of the few places where there is an option for transgender athletes to be in the open events. I respect somebody’s right to live their life however they want to live it. But I am very sick of hearing of how a biological male makes the best female.
The best high school female athletes are now biological males… same with college swimmers and other sports. Watching a transgender female, a biological male, in a UFC fight is like watching a man beat up a woman. It’s horrible. I don’t know why everybody is so afraid of this issue… Everyone needs to stand up and say this is a violation of women’s rights across the board. But everyone’s so afraid of the political correctness. But why are we putting that ahead of basic decency? ahead of girls in sports? ahead of feminism?
Anyway… I love pool and dedicate a lot of time and energy to it and this thing in the UK broke my heart.

Until the male dominated marketing, branding and organization of events is detached, by funding equal opportunities at a grassroots level and providing a platform where societally fabricated gender is not attached to expected performance, then people will still argue the toss over why women don't move a stick in a straight line better than men.

As I said, this topic has been done to death here. Hope there is a fair resolution in the future, so that the vile, pointy hats stop sharpening their pitchforks... I mean, spilling Miller Lite on their keyboards

Thank you, but I would say the Fargo numbers speak for themselves. Also, it’s clearly not just moving a stick back-and-forth otherwise there would be no difference between me and Fedor. But I take your point. I have nothing but loving kindness towards my fellow people, regardless of how they want to identify. And I agree with you that much of gender norms are societal but that’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about biological differences. And we don’t need to insult one another on either side of this by calling people “trannies” or on the side infer that people who are against this are somehow spilling “Miller Lite all over their keyboards.”
And I, too, am bored to death with the conversation of the difference between men and women in sports.
I’m a female player and my gender rarely comes up when playing other than maybe the additional attention (and for my inability to reach certain shots because I’m so damn short.)

Biologically, there are differences in many sports, absolutely agree. I don't think pool is one where that is really an issue. I have spoken to a lot of players I respect, many of them professional, who do describe it as 'moving a stick backwards and forwards' - and fervently stating that the defining characteristic of a champion is mental fortitude and strength (psychological strength) - So to me, it becomes especially pertinent that a lot of these biological differences are reinforced and bolstered by societally constructed gender norms, removing opportunity for growth and development in those areas of difference. Psychologically, that socially constructed divide creates a set of fixed expectations of skill that doesn't actually exist.

I too just want an environment where everyone can play their best game. Again, thanks for sharing you viewpoint in a thoughtful and articulate way. I don't have the answers, but I don't think dividing, separating and labelling offers opportunity for everyone to play their best game, to grow and ultimately grow the game we love to play.

We disagree. Biological differences are a lot more than testosterone and strength. Women are not small men. We are different. I respect your point of view, but I think the answer is simple. Most events are open, meaning they’re open to everyone and everyone should feel free to compete there.
Biological males should not be competing against women in boxing, racing, pool, or any other sport.

Again, the message I am getting from the world right now is that the people that are best at being women are men. It’s disheartening.. Thank you for being respectful and thoughtful in your responses. I don’t think there’s anything left to be said. it’s OK that we disagree. I’m out.
