Lost in the quarterfinals on an unlucky scratch...

Couple observations:

1. Our guy E is definitely not out of his league with these guys.

2. EVERYONE in commentary had nothing but great things to say about Eric, which speaks volumes about his character as a man.

3. This is a fun format to watch. SVB reiterated that 8 ball is his favorite game and you have to think a lot more. It is cool to see legends like Matlock and Archer out there playing.

4. One of the Brits on commentary observed that the super tight 4 inch pockets from 9 ball certainly favor the European and Asian players with Snooker backgrounds...he mentioned that tight pockets take some of the magical shot-crafting that comes with being able to cheat the pockets we saw with Efren and Earl. Made sense to me.

5. Looks like another European organization ambassador found a foothold in American pool...

Well last night he play well Eric, I am not a Bar Box Player, I am not an 8 Ball Player, but I enjoy watching last night. The Stream was quality, the commentary was Quality. Notice how the light reflect off Balls, they look super duper clean, and the Table looked Fresh & Clean. Good Show put on by promotor.

While I agree with most everything you said, I can’t agree with the unlucky scratch comment. I’m no hater but the cueball unfortunately went exactly where he put it. People say this to me sometimes and I say the same thing. Having said that I watched most of 2 of his matches and E plays great!
 
Shane is hilarious.

He's just won a mixed doubles match with his partner Ashley Benoit.

In the post-game interview, Shane was asked how it felt playing with Ashley and he said "Good, because she listened to me".
