Un-FREAKING-Buh leev ah bul!!!

I used to love watching those, is he still making them (havent checked in a while)?

I don't know. I can't be looking at that shit.

I already want to throw my pool stuff on the floor and jump up and down on it in anger, when I don't play my best.

If i have to compare ini to daz, I might have to go to YOUR house and jump on your pool stuff!

I gave it a go after you posted it.

Took 11 tries before I was able to do it.

What sucked was I got to the 13 ball on the very first attempt before missing and then failed before the 7 ball 9 tries in a row....lol.

11th times a charm I guess.

It was nerve wrecking as you have to come very close to balls on every single shot until the last few.

It actually got me to thinking about giving American rotation a go for a while.

Good post. As others said, the kid can play.

Also, I wonder how many attempts it took him to do it?

Rake

11 tries? We're sending someone right over to break your thumbs, dude!

This cat was giving someone i know a SERIOUS spot playing 1p at DCC this year. He came up against a TUFF long rail'r and just WARP-SIX'd the ball into his hole. Fedor is hard not to like. Really nice kid but he will TEAR your heart out and feed it to you on the table. Mature WAAAAY beyond his years.

Baby-faced assassin... the worst kind.

Just imagine if he used cte and Revo.
Barabeeem!

That is one insane drill.
That just shows how unreal these guys' talents to become world class.
And hard work.

One of the only regrets I'll have when I finally check out of this crazy world will be leaving my kid behind... one of the very few others will be not being able to see where this frustratingly magical game will be in another 40 or 50 years. It will be interesting.

Some days my game looks as if my thumbs are broke.

But yeah, did it in 11 tries. I almost got it the very first attempt. One of those days when the pockets look huge and the cue just feels so natural.....well, I let my damn mind get into the drill while I was stroking at the 13 ball (easiest part of drill) and next thing I know I dogged it.

At that point I was thinking, ssshhh, this drill is not as hard as it looks. I got to the 13 first attempt, surely I'll do it second attempt :happydance::bow-down:

Well, the next 9 attempts sucked. I think I got to 3 one 1 of them and 5 to 7 on others of the 9.:shakehead::scratchhead::sad::help:

And then on the 11 attempt BAM.....:happydance::happydance::happydance:

At that point I had to take a mental break. To me, the drill is not hard. It is what I would call touchy, I guess for a lack of a better word. The shots are (to me) super easy to make but holding shape on the next ball gets increasingly harder with each shot. Again, to me.

Although, I can see where an experienced player would be able to do this drill easier than some may think "IF" they spend a lot of time on the same table day-in / day-out.

To me, the two things that make or break you on this drill is ball speed and staying close to center ball while keeping correct angles.......wait....lol......that was 3 things.

Somebody please unplug my computer....

It's the angles that make it as difficult as it is, to whatever degree it really is. I've always had an easier time making balls frozen on the rail so that doesn't bother me. It's maintaining that same angle shot after shot. The one I grew up with, with 9 balls, is a bit different. The one, three and five are frozen at each diamond between the side and corner. One is closest to the corner, five to the side. The two, four and six on the opposite side rail, same positions ( two by corner, six by side, four in the middle ). Then, the nine on center diamond, bottom rail, eight on diamond by the corner, seven on diamond, other side of the nine. BIH first shot, run out the rack in rotation.

IT AIN'T EASY. If you've never shot that particular drill, Rake, take a pop at it and lemme know how it went.

I got tired just reading about it. lol

I will give it a shot soon. I've been concentrating on American Rotation Ghost lately. It's brutal, but I'm hoping it will get me past this slump I'm in.

I was improving what seemed like daily with the 9 and 10 ball ghost. I went from being ~50% to ~60% favorite to ~75% favorite in races to 11 and shorter with magic rack and BIH. All that improvement was in a three week window, seriously.

I improvement stopped and I felt stuck. I then realized I was just bored with 9 and 10 ball ghost. At that point I starting American Rotation.

Again, I will give the drill a shot the next day I take a break from American Rotation.

We shall see,

Rake

Will be interested to hear the tale. It's a great ( maddening ) drill.

Bored? Variety is the spice o' life, mon frere! :grin-square:
