Under the Radar

I watched a guy recently go into Chris's in Chicago and beat everyone. You should have seen the guys that lost using their smart phones to find out everything they could about him ASAP. It was hilarious, the guy stayed around for a couple weeks and then left. No one would play him anywhere the word was out. Not possible to be an unknown even when your from another country as this guy was.. It is what it is folks, times have changed!

You'd think if someone was truly looking to keep "under the radar" (and is not just looking for more attention) they would refrain making public posts to a pool playing community about how hard it is to stay under the radar...

I believe it is no longer possible to stay under the radar for anyone to make money anymore. The only possibility would be to never play in any league, tournament, or gamble anyone who has a rating already. That would limit you to playing nobodies for life.

Joe Nobody's cash spends just as well as SVB's.

One option would be to avoid going top speed when you are on the radar.

There are guys that stay under the radar. I know of one. He plays only as good as he has to with whoever he is playing regardless of his opponents speed. That's how you stay under the radar.
