Uniloc quick release joint

Why do you feel you need a Predator cue?
Polishing the pins before installing is a good practice. I have never understood why it's so crucial to not use more than two seconds to screw the cue together..
From time to time, I have customers show up with a Uni-Loc pin cue that has seized up, regular maintenance is crucial on a Uni-Loc cue in my opinion.

Let's see pictures of the.polished Uniloc quick release screws you've installed.
Why would I build a cue with a uniloc quick release? Lol ....are people that lazy. What's next 🧲 join your cue? Just because people can't screw a cue together. Look the joint is fine. But yes they do come loose. Why would a want a cue that unknowingly came loose during a game. Soon as you hit the ball your gonna say WTF! ONE TIME IS ENUFF OF THAT...CUES GETTING SOLD.. AND don't worry I'll refer friends to you so you can polish their Quick release pins for them.

Ok. So, you've never polished one with auto clear compound.. But, you're giving advice on how to polish them.
Do you even build cues?
If you don't, we don't need your advice on how to polish screws or which ones to use.

It's locked up because they cranked it down so tight in fear of it coming lose at a crucial moment. Lol the pin is junk for the coming lose issue alone.

My points are valid.. quit trying to flex. If u don't think the mcguires can cut metal that's fine. But it does. Just not aggressively. I'm not fucking stupid so quit trying to diminish my posts. I dont build cues. what's it matter. U do...ok cool. Why would u install a uniloc on a cue? The joint is known to have issues.

I've installed two. One by request.. And one on my own house cue.
You have not polished a Uni Loc qr screw.
And you refuse to admit you're wrong.

U build cues wanna make me a shaft to fit a old helmstetter twin joint cue like it does from the factory? I'd like a fresh one. They are getting hard to find. And cuemakers just want to re pin the cue.

That's like saying 2k or 4k sandpaper doesn't cut wood. Sir I have polished stainless joints ..ferrules...butcaps...and clearcoat with this polish and it works. Idk what your issue is

Helmstetter adam "TJ" for twin joint. Made in japan late 80s early 90s. Great cues for the price. Sharp even points. Clean miter work. (Cleaner than some 3k cues I've seen from guys building cues)
The top is 5-16x14 idk the bottom diameter I have not measured it. My guess would be 3-8ths

Buy your response i Guess that means u can't do it

I don't have a dog in this but if Joey wants to make you the shaft, I'll send him the insert.
Anything for Joey!

Great..
Why don't YOU do it?
That thing is dumb.
And it's been dropped for a good reason.

Come back when you can do more than polish ferrules.
Make something with your name on it and let's see if someone pays a dollar for it. 😆
Mop work? I've converted or made shafts for big pin Tad, Brugge and Joe Golf without their specialty taps.
You?

Good for you. I'm not a cue builder. All I can say is your attitude in embarrassing. But apparently your the king of the forum and cuemakers . I'll give the work to a local guy. I dont have the tools to make cues. Or the time. I still work for a living. The correct answer from you would have been. Yea....I can make that insert....and do it. (I don't care what it costs....but your attitude is shit.) Good luck making cues. Ps. There is nothing wrong with that twin joint. Its odd and prob unnecessarybut .it's super solid and secure....gives a nice forward weight as well

Yes Sir
Twin threads. 5/16x14 works and the other fits 3/8x14 which makes sense. They have to be the same thread count to work. The body of the insert is 12x1.50mm.
Hope this helps.
Have a nice day!
