Just simply stunning there Steve. I really consider my self luck to own 2 Cochrans! I sure do miss those early morning conversations and email exchanges from Mike. I think of him quite often. :frown:

Stunning

The 2 on the far right are my favorites. They are all top notch cues made by a top notch gentleman. Enjoy the cues and the memories Steve. Rest in peace, Mike.

I agree Kevin, the 2 cues on the right are awesome. Enjoy them Steve, and it's all thanks to you that I got to spend some time with Mike and get to know him as a person and not just a cuemaker. Nice post.

You're Right Steve! Mike was great at his craft. but more so as a kind generous husband, father, and a friend as we all know r.i.p. The cues on the far right are now my favorite Cochran 6-pointers. Bob

i am a sucker for that ss joint cue..nice collection of mikes cues..he truely was a great cuemaker who left us to soon...mickey

The steel joint cue just don't belong with all that ivory

I have a ivory joint one that could replace it! But I like the ivory too!
The purple one is very sweet and the red one is a mind blower. The box cue is best!
Thanks Steve,
Nick :)

your right nick it doesnt belong in there...i think it should be in my growing collection.....

hey

Thanks to everyone...you guys obviously loved Mike and his work as much as I did....and still do

Did anyone notice that the last 2 are piloted ivory joints. Mike had decided that this is the way he was going to go on all his future cues.

Beautiful cues Steve. I am looking forward to seeing the last two on the right up close.

Take care my friend,
Chris

Your right Steve

Thanks to everyone...you guys obviously loved Mike and his work as much as I did....and still do

Did anyone notice that the last 2 are piloted ivory joints. Mike had decided that this is the way he was going to go on all his future cues.

Mike was having fits about the tollerances on the radial pins he was getting when he could get them. He decided to switch to the piloted ivory reinforced joint on the piloted cues and the 3/8-10 interupted thread for the flat faced cues.
I noticed I don't have one though! Just missed getting one. Eric beat me to it by minuites.
Thank you for brightening our day.
Nick :)

Love these cues.

All of these cues like Mike, are wonderful. I breaks my heart that I have to sell mine. I have the same pin and it is great. I wish I could have just 10% of your collection.

Those are outrageous cues Steve, and a fitting tribute to your friend, and one hell of a cuemaker! Mr. Cochran. R.I.P.
