Picked this cue up in a trade over the weekend. it was believed to be a Paradise by the previous owner (at least that was what he was told). Let me know your thoughts. Just noticed I didn't take a pic of the forearm. It is a Titlist blank. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

The rings do look like an old Huebler, The cue JV referenced is not a titlist forearm. The points are very short, but the veneers are different. Not sure if Mr. Huebler did titlist conversions, but if he did I want one!

One thing that looked off was that the pin seemed longer that I have seen on an old Huebler. It is hard to tell looking at pictures, but it just looked different.
 
I think the cue is actually a Meucci; made when Bob and Paul were working in the same shop. The cue appears to have a brass shaft insert; a Heubler from the same time period would still have the nylon insert.

I think here should be a few threads on this very subject (Huebler/Meucci) located in the Gallery section. Give it a search.

As someone that has owned a titlist Huebler AND a brass insert Huebler, I believe this cue is indeed a Huebler.

Very early Hueblers can be harder to ID.

As was said, Bob and Paul did work together. Naming the cues from that time period can be "touchy", as there were overlapping features etc.

I would call it a Huebler myself.

Not a Meucci Huebler it isnt a QB

The Meucci Huebler line ws called the QB line, and that cue isnt one of them, he built a series between the QB and the RH it was the HI series,
they didnt have the red bumpers the had those black pill bumpers, he carried some of the cue designs over into the H series in 83, it looks alot like the H-9 in the 83 brochure, but the joint is made with a different material. Paul didnt use brass inserts, He did how ever use wooden pinned shafts in his carom cues.
It looks like a Huebler, points are correct and the ring work as well. if you remove the pill bumper it should be a phillips head screw under there
nothing like the weight systems he used later
