comiserations team usa you were robbed of the 2008 mosconi cup because simply you were fluked off the table! and the arrogance of immonen and souquet!
i am scottish and i will always route for team usa as long as the best player in the world EARL STRICKLAND is in the team. only 1 critisism of the usa team, i personally thought that shane van boening bottled it, due to lack of experience, and i thought corey dual would have been in over jeremy jones, ( sorry jj no disrespect mate)
anyway u guys will win it this year, and i predict a few big tournament wins next year for earl!
theres only 1 earl strickland! :smile:

my friend i watched the same game as everyone else, europe got all the the run of the ball...
and quite a lot of flukes also mika immonen in particular made 9 balls by flukes!
i know luck is involved but the usa never had any!
i would like to see immonen, souqet etc, playing on uk 8 ball pool tables, they would not have a career!
eael strickland is 100% that the pockets were far too big!
i rest my case :)
 
Well Souquet and Immonen depended on outrageous flukes for their entire careers!
I mean without having a sound technique and all...!

Yeah, they've just been very lucky the last 15 years. Talk about getting all the rolls!

Sir,
Don't be a sore looser. I am an American and I watched every match and we got our asses whipped.
It's true the the European team got more of the good rolls.. but they also played better pool when they had their turn at the table.
Team USA looked tentative at times and had trouble with what most would consider routine run outs. This is a BIG wake up call for the USA. The Euros let their sticks do the talking and carried themselves like gentlemen.
Congratulations Team Europe. You deserved this years Mosconi Cup.
