Unsolicited comments ?

Why is it that when you post things for sale people have the need to clutter up the posting with unnecessary comments.
Most of the time they have no trading record at all but feel the need to profess their thoughts about the item for sale.
Just me babbling..........I do have an all-aluminum cue for sale that has tons of deflection if your interested..lol
 
why you got post bout nothing ???cluttering up with your pet peeves roflmao
its the internet ,if there was no clutter the net would be like 5 pages


i got internet in 93 it took minutes for a page to load . back then it took months to clutter lol, we still live in the sticks , but i remember my mom bitching she needed to use phone what was wrong with phone rofl,ao

I feel your pain, but there's nothing we can do about it besides mentally prepare ourselves for the inevitability. I posted a thread in NPR about about a freestyle rapper that I like. The thread title was "Any rap fans?" I knew going in that I would have plenty of people open the thread and comment about how they DON'T like rap. Cool, don't come in this thread then! It's all good.
 
It's a free bump back to the top. Any comments should help keep it on the first page where it will actually be seen. Then if your price is fair it should move.
It seems to me the ones who have the most issue with comments on their sale are those trying to sell something worth $450 new for $600 used.

Be on the lookout for potential suicides if you’re on deployment. A guy in my unit tried killing himself by huffing some dust-off canned air (an officer had recently died that way, and this guy was not the type to shoot himself so I guess he took his cue from the officers story)

Since we lived in big huts with rooms separated by blankets and sheets of plywood that didn’t reach the ceiling, a sergeant heard and jumped over the plywood to beat the kid up a bit and stop him from his huffing.

This selfsame sergeant then tried to kill himself about 3 months later after a phone call back home. While I felt bad, his departure left me with even more responsibilities for a couple weeks. I never did learn what exactly he had attempted.

Then one day the battle captain was missing from the operation center. His night shift started at 20:00 and he was nowhere to be found. People were on edge. Local nationals were vetted well before being able to basically live among us but we’d had two dead soldiers so far with blade wounds that were unsolved murders in the night. Still are as far as I know.

Eventually the MIA capitan’ was found. He was in a standoff with himself - M4 pointed to his own chin and warning the discoverer to stay back. I wasn’t there so don’t know any more details. But he was eventually talked down. He also had been on the tele back home right before going off the deep end.

It’s stressful when you’re away like that and you have communication back to a completely different life and world. It shouldn’t be so. I hate cell phones. I can’t stand that someone can always call me anywhere anytime. I rarely called home when I was there, or any time I was stuck in the big house. It’s just not a good idea, it messes with your brain and reality.

So keep an eye out for your fellows if you’re deployed n stuff. Or if you’re in the big house I suppose. I never seent anyone try to do themselves in there though.

So are you complaining about all the Nits who go on and on about "great cue", "beautiful cue", "hits like a monster", "what a deal", "great price", "a #1 seller", "stand up dude", and blah blah?

Or are you complaining about the people who call out the BS sale prices and posts? Such as the lazy a-hats who can't post a photo of what they are selling, the ones who try to get away with posting absurd prices and are looking for a sucker, the one who think they can sell a basic USED cue for the same or higher price than what they bought it for? The ones who refuse to keep it all hush hush in a PM? The ones who when you say you are open to offers and someone starts out at 50% because that is all your overpriced sale is worth to them?

You complaining about only of of these groups of posters or all? Don't pick sides now.

I remember having to start my Ebay sniper bid process with 1min 38seconds remaining in order to place a last second bid.
