Hey folks,

I started a thread back in Jan of this year asking questions about certain tables, prices etc.

Well, I ended up ordering from diamond. I ordered the following:

9' Pro-Am Black PRC/Assembled w/White Epoxy Inlay
pro-am 1-Piece Slate
9' Oak/Black Light w/no decals
Professional Light Square Corner
Ball Rack... Oak w/Black
Cyclop Traditional(Ares) Ball Set
Simonis Tournament Blue
Table Cover... Black w/Gold Embroidery
Wire Bridge Holder
Wire Ball Holder

I ask Aaron to add 4 1/2" pro cut pockets and simonis 860 felt to my table but was informed that all diamonds come with that pocket size and type felt unless the customer asks for something different when ordering. So I did not have to pay anything extra for that which was nice.

The delivery and setup is to be done by diamond.

I paid half down on the table on 1/25/17.

Some days I don't think about the wait time but other days I have a hard time dealing with the wait.

I understand these things take time and that quality tables like diamond produces is worth the wait but it is still tough...lol.

I was told a couple weeks ago that it would be a couple more weeks so I am hoping I will hear from them about the other half of payment, delivery and setup of table.

Any of you guys have the same experience when ordering? If so, what can I expect from this point?

Thanks,
TheRake

if it takes 6 months to get a table
to me not acceptable

Then don't buy a Diamond - or buy used. If Diamond was honest about the wait time, nothing wrong with that. Diamond makes a great product and they are in high demand.

Eveything you requested was what a stock, off the shelf table comes with anyway, so no special order there buddy.

Mine was nearly the same deal back in December of 07. I received my Diamond Pro at the end of May in 08. The wait was tough but once RKC set it up for me I never thought about the wait again.....until now;).

Patience is a virtue, and good things come to those who wait.

You are in for a great table:cool:

I would feel the same way with "any" other table but for a diamond, I was and still am willing to wait.

That does not make the wait easier though.

They have been honest and up front as far as I'm concerned. I was just curious about others that have ordered.

If I said special order, I was mistaken. I did however ask for the table to be that way so I guess I am double lucky cause what I would have considered to be "special" is diamond's "normal". Can't beat that which is why people like me are willing to spend the cash and time waiting.

This will be my first table and my expectations are super high. I doubt I will be disappointed in the least with product or service.

I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas.......

I wish RKC was the installer for mine. We can't have everything. I'm sure who ever comes will be more than acceptable. I can't imagine diamond sending someone that is not up to the task. If they did it would go against everything I have ever heard about them.

As far as the wait.......it is rough .

Yep, patience is a virtue and I'm in for a great table. I doubt I will sleep the first few days after it arrives.

I ordered late December and had received the 9ft pro-am right at about 11-12weeks.

I bet they are waiting to schedule all their deliveries in your area together.

They had delivered and installed Houston and my area(3 tables)(4hrs from houston) together.

Maybe just call Aaron and ask him for estimate delivery date.

Pro-cut plays tough. I'm very happy wirh my table.

Yes it will be set up correctly. I was lucky to get Glen to swing by for mine.

I still grin "like a chicken eating bugs off a wire brush" every time I walk into my man cave.

Its a pro-am. Everything is pretty much all set up. They dolly it into the room, drill the legs on and flip the table over. Then spend about half an hr leveling the table.

Its a real simple process.

It is worth waiting for. I commend you for doing it right the first time. Our community clubhouse has 4 9ftProAm's. If I ever bought table again it would be the Diamond ProAm...and it hurts to say that as I'm a GoldCrown lover from way back. You'll enjoy your table day after game. It'll never get old.

I also love Gold Crowns but when it came down to it the Diamond got the nod. I wish I had the room for both.

Mine was ordered new Jan 2nd or so , I was off work for holidays and it came earlier than expected in the beginning week of march. The setup was awesome, it didn't take too long about 2hrs from when my doorbell rang till I was waving goodbye. Never been happier than I am now with this table! I should of bought one 2 tables ago!!!! Then the next day I mailed the other 1/2 of the money!

So what should you expect? The table of your dreams, write big check, play pool happy!

Cuebuddy nailed it.

I bought a diamond a couple years ago - practically the exact same setup you are waiting on. I also ordered a couple of chairs.

When the shipment came in, the mechanic called me to set up delivery. He had also given everything a once-over and found a hairline crack in the arm of one of the chairs. When he showed me, it took a little time to really see it. He ordered a new chair, but went ahead and delivered the rest of what I ordered. He also let me schedule the delivery a few days out, but I went to his location and picked up the light the same day everything came in as i had an electrician install it and wanted it done before the table got there. Turned out to be a good move on my part.

Everything was set up and leveled perfectly. They were in and out in far less than an hour and did a great job.

I promise you, the wait wasn't easy, but looking back, it sure was worth it. You'll have the table before you know it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine.
