Last time I checked Jason is not in town but JR can bring the cash for him I guess if he wants. The game doesn't start until 8 so you have time to watch some of the show. No way the Lakers lose tonight, especially with the Celtics not having Perkins unless Rondo just goes off for another triple double.

I'm a Timberwolves fan, which is as much of a lost cause as there can possibly be.

Basketball has absolutely nothing to do with my comment though. It's just annoying seeing this thread on the front page all day, everyday. Especially considering you guys are probably all friends/neighbors and can use one of the many other forms of communication to discuss your nothings. For example, phone calls, texts, faxes, pen-pals, MSN Messenger, Facebook, tie two cans together with a string, send letters Western Union, meet each other at the pool hall, build a tree house and hang out there ... You get the drift.

I don't care if you guys post here four thousand times a day, but when it's just a running convo about what everyone is doing and how you all take your coffee, it doesn't include the general population of the forum and therefore should be taken elsewhere.

If I am ever in Iowa, (and I really don't know when I would be, the Minneapolis-St. Paul area is usually as far south as I go when I'm in the tri-state area) then I will look you guys up and we can lay down a few bucks on a few games, I'll buy the first round, and we'll shoot the breeze all night at the pool hall. I'm all for a good time.

I do agree with you some of our posts are straight up BSing about things that could be said on the phone, but some of us are at work killing time and love the site. No harm man, I always just figured people could ignore it if they didn't want to read it. There are a bunch of them on here that I don't read and just skip over.

There isn't an ignore feature, there should be though. Like I said, I usually do just skip over it, but with 5,500+ posts and counting, I figure once in a while something is going on in here worth looking at
