Mini tournaments all night, Friday night. Main tournament usually draw between 60-80 players. Vilmont, Baraks, Bergman, Rolston, Quinn, Mark Wilson, Banks Jr, McMinn, Lutman among regular champions found at these events. I know I am missing many more.

This is a Midwest 9 Ball tour event at the end of the month. I have confirmation that 1on1 will be there possibly with Stakehorse. Beautiful downtown Cahokia is located right across the river from the Arch, conveniently located two miles to some of the best strip clubs this country has to offer.

This tournament features some of the Midwest greatest players along with a great room owned by people that know pool. There is always a ton of action at these events. I am sure that you have heard of the truly big action that goes on in St Louis. Featuring huge steaks bar b qued during the tournament, if ANY of the IOWA crew come to this tournament, I will buy you a steak dinner and a visit to the VIP beer tent out back. I will also supply free passes to the entertainment centers down the street. These clubs make the ones in Iowa look as exciting as your sister's bedroom.

Any other AZ members that might want to go to this event that are not a regular at one of The Break's tournaments, let me know and we can also work something out.

note to MikeyFrost: in Cahokia, you can bet enough to win a house in this neighborhood. :smile:

Watchez...I will be at this tournament. I thought you guys could use the donation....by the way is that a tax deductible donation? I am afraid that I no longer drink as of this past Sunday. I have had all the excitement with our finest men and women in uniform. Besides, there comes a time when you have to accept the obvious. As for the entertainment spots... they definitely leave LITTLE to the imagination! I actually got thrown out of one in Washington Park back in '99. No, it was not the Pink Slip...

Not the Pink Slip - then my guess would be Cheeks or Chemos Key Club? Washington Park has some new bigger entertainment spots - Hustler Club & Hollywood. The East Side is like a candy store with plenty to choose from. I have only been thrown out of Pops myself a few times, but never a strip club. My friend redneck Rodney actually headbutted a guy in PT's one night after he became too mouthy with us and Rodney at first politely told him that he should just leave it alone. Normally Rodney doesn't even ask for 'permission'. PT's threw out the guy that Rodney headbutted and sent to the floor and nothing was done to us. Guess it pays to tip nicely to your bartender.

My time over at the tournament might be limited as I am moving into a new house on the 25th. It depends on how much I can get accomplished on how long I will be over in Cahokia. Always a good time so I will make it there somehow.

And don't worry, I won't let anyone steal you in the Calcutta. :D

I just got my recent Billiards Digest and there is Jeanette Lee advertising the new room at the Bass Pro Shop place. "Two tournament tables" it says.

Anyone know more? Is there also a bar or is it just for sales of tables or what? I assume JL will be there at the end of this month doing an opening? I heard the first Bass Pro Shop opening she did had a line of guys a block long waiting for to meet her.

Anyone setting up some action with Jeanette?

I will try to get a game with her when she hits Stix II in a couple of weeks. My offer still stands with giving her the 7 for some cheap sets of either $50 or $100 but I will make her post this time... No IOUs.

Can I side bet four shots a set? Of course I will be betting on you so no matter who wins, it will be a win win for me. Tipsy Jeanette might like her some Frost a lil later in the evening haha.

Sounds good sir. I am going to the fair tomorrow as I have the day off of work and I am going to see how long it takes me to get kicked off the crooked pool tables there for the 4 ball run gig. Do you think they would shit a brick if I showed up in a tux with my pool cue in 90 degree weather lol...

Looks like we have action...Jon pm'd me and confirmed he would play me a 10 ahead 8-ball set for 2k-5k...all we have to figure out when to do it. He want's to play in September so I suggest we play Saturday the 12th. Gonna be a long month......:(.......

Damn Mr. Mom, wake up on the wrong side of the bed? She is coming to promote APA for 2 hours doing some trick shots and challenge matches, hardly doubt she is looking for a game. Do not question me on stones sir, alcohol is a phenominal neutralizer as I was dragged away in Vegas a few years back while trying to offer Stephano the same spot (Kelly and Jimmy can verify this). When is your next poker game yo?

I like Scott to take this off and win me some cash mula...somebody better be training to the Rocky Theme Song for the next month. 10 ahead 8 ball, I dont know what to expect but I do expect it to last quite a while, I say you guys play til close and resume at opening...it may take a while.
 
Really Mike only 4.5 hours??? I mean what's a game of 8 Ball take like 10-15 mins so say they play a little faster at 7 games/hr...4.5 hours=32 games...score would have to be 21-11...that would be an ass whoopin!
