$2,500.00 ADDED
BAR TABLE 9 BALL
OPEN & LADIES DIVISIONS
ENTRY: $35

DEADLINE SATURDAY 11:00 AM

www.9balltour.com

Mini tournaments all night, Friday night. Main tournament usually draw between 60-80 players. Vilmont, Baraks, Bergman, Rolston, Quinn, Mark Wilson, Banks Jr, McMinn, Lutman among regular champions found at these events. I know I am missing many more.

This is a Midwest 9 Ball tour event at the end of the month. I have confirmation that 1on1 will be there possibly with Stakehorse. Beautiful downtown Cahokia is located right across the river from the Arch, conveniently located two miles to some of the best strip clubs this country has to offer.

This tournament features some of the Midwest greatest players along with a great room owned by people that know pool. There is always a ton of action at these events. I am sure that you have heard of the truly big action that goes on in St Louis. Featuring huge steaks bar b qued during the tournament, if ANY of the IOWA crew come to this tournament, I will buy you a steak dinner and a visit to the VIP beer tent out back. I will also supply free passes to the entertainment centers down the street. These clubs make the ones in Iowa look as exciting as your sister's bedroom.

Any other AZ members that might want to go to this event that are not a regular at one of The Break's tournaments, let me know and we can also work something out.

note to MikeyFrost: in Cahokia, you can bet enough to win a house in this neighborhood.

Unlike SVB who played Jason Chance the on Saturday some $50/set and Jason loses $700. Well the next day Jason asks to play $50/set again, anyone know what Mr. Class SVB says??? Bet $100/set or he doesn't wanna play. Needless to say Jason Chance told him exactly about himself for that crap.

LOL, Shane has pulled the same thing up here in Minnesota. Has lost action with guys who would donate $500+ to him each time he came to town because of this attitude.

Hey Jon, how about you don't air your dirty laundry on a thread everyone from coast to coast is reading....? It's bad for business if you know what I mean. Plus, I'm honestly just tired of hearing it. If you don't like Mikey take it up with him in person, or on the pool table. I think Mikey is a great guy, even though we've had our moments. As far as that goes, you and I get along fine also. But, honestly Jon, having Mikey around is making a lot of people want to be in "your" pool hall. Since you say no one will play you bar table 8 ball, how about you have Mikey get you a real game. Don't even look in my direction, because I will never be your easy money again.:thud:

Can't we all just get along.....

I would like to try some bar table 8 ball with Jon...that is if 10 ahead for $2000 isn't to small time....

Can I get mine in advance.

That's a very tempting offer. We'll see how these plans mesh with my work schedule. I just got back from Illinois the last 3 days, next week back to Indiana for a few days, then I have to fly to Sacramento area...my house feels like a hotel and the hotels feel like home right now. We'll see though I do appreciate the offerings for sure!

He didn't check my license but did tried to intimidate me as I walked by him as we entered.

The door guy was a d!ck, plain and simple. Funny thing is, he was the furthest from the "Road House" action that went down late Saturday night after the match. LOL. I think he got intimidated. Probably just one of those dudes that wanted to be a cop or in some type of powerful position, but woke up one day and was 35 and had to get a job as a door man for 7 dollars an hour. Just being honest here. The dude had a major attitude.

What did this guy look like. When we first got there Friday night and went in they carded all of us which is understandable but after that first time they never even looked or spoke to me Saturday or Sunday

He was thin guy, had a mustache I think. I played in the tournament, and had a match on the kid side, and had no idea you weren't allowed to carry your beer with you. He kind of jumped on me and actually swore at me. I was like damn dude....." I'm not from here and had no idea that Iowa had FD up liquor laws ".

I saw several people get stopped going to the other side of the room then finally saw the sign that said no alcohol, I would have made the same mistake myself.

Io-where?

Beer, Steaks, and Strippers. Where do I sign up! :joyful:

An interesting thread again. I guess it's true, miss a day -- miss a lot.

I did enjoy TAR and all the action that was around this last weekend. The only thing that could have improved it was being able to ditch all responsibility during the 3-4 day carnival.

Mikey -- Without you, this summer would have turned out like so many others -- Boring and quiet. You have definately kept my pool enthusiasm peaked, and even increased during this usual summer doldrum.

Scott, apparently you didn't read Jon B's post. He said $2k IS small time!

SOOOOO, on that note, I would like to possibly throw in another $3k on you against Jon B.

Now that we are at half a fat stack,Lets see what happens. Maybe we can at least raise an eyebrow!

I have to agree with you here sir...dont slam the pool room, it's a place we love for sure. On here especially it's clear what I try to do and accomplish...my reputation speaks for itself...like I have always said people either personally know me or know of me but either way always no I am good action.

I do want to say something though...this is from the heart and super true. The guys in town definitely carry their weight and bet very high especially in this economy. What if me and Jason R. bet once a year what would we bet...maybe $15k or so probably. Point is we mix it up and get a lot of bets in. Hell we bet together too out of respect and liking the same side. Moral of the story though is this..this is a fact Jack...if the Richardsons and myself bow out of betting, Big Dogs will not have anything major going on. One big set between pros and all the sudden everyone is small time...yes I say everyone even though I was singled out.

You can't single me out, I pay off on time every time and book losers and only once have I been upset about it. I take the wins the same way I take the losses but over the money is the respect I hold for the participants. I have respect for everyone whether they bet or not. I personally play guys for free or for the cash and have the same level of respect for them. I love the guys at the pool room, they are growing to be like a second family for me. When I saw guys start paying $55 just to help me get stuff off the ground I was moved. I genuinely was touched...there is a super group of people that come to Big Dogs. The class is in the customers. The integrity goes hand in hand with the respect we show each other before and after each proposition. The gamble is what keeps our noses open. The love is why we all play.

If anyone for one minute thinks one person makes up Big Dogs they are wrong. WE make the pool room what it is. WE make it a place we want to go to. I feel like I may possibly get banned but I no longer care. I appreciate all my friends and everything WE do together to make our pool room one of the premier places to play. This is real!

Mikey, STOP giving Jon B. your password to your AZBilliards account so he can post under your screen name!!!

You wouldn't bet 10 cents if the fix was on.

I heard from Scott before he made the post. IMO Scott aint stealin, Jon plays good..it's a good game. With that being said I'll naturally be in for my typical "small time" amount...I'm too nitty to bet high sorry. I don't wanna see this two set crap...I wanna see 1, 10-15 ahead set for at least $2-5k bet more if u want and also would like the madness to quit.

I stopped with the table time stuff long ago(I really didnt play with Beau Runningen for $6 worth he just showed me his cue). I really dont ask for anything while I'm there. I just require a place to smoke and a table to hit balls on.

On Sunday when I came in I spoke to Marc O. and shook his hand and that let me know by gones are by gones have a good time. Then I proceed to speak to Jon, Jon asks me am I still not spending, I laugh and tell him I'm going to get drunk! There for 10 minutes and paid cash for a round of shots, an incredible hulk, and 2 goose and red bulls to get me started. Paid out a C-Note on an $80 tab and thought it was all good.

I've only had nice things come out of my mouth publicly and in no way instigated the latest chapter of nonsense. Lots of people clearly feel the way I do about it all and it's just old at this point. Bottom line one of my close friends in this world owns King Street Billiards and can vouch for me as both a person and customer at any time. I am obnoxious when I am drunk sometimes, but harmless. All I wanna say is this is the last and I do mean this seriously LAST time I am going through this. I know I won't get banned cuz I did not break any of the rules of the pool hall and always pay what I owe. That's all I really wanted to say.

Almost forgot, thanks for the double round you bought us after taking us off on the flip.

I don't get too carried away with the coin flipping, but I do like to toss it in the air for a $100 or so every now and again...I get the roulette style rush out of it...feels good.

Yeah not a typo...did buy you paying customers a double round, not like yall didnt buy me multiple drinks throughout the weekend...just returning the favor. We were all pumped anyway at that moment..

Next time, try not to go off in a casino before an event jk...let me know something when you hear about that 'Busa. I'll be around Indy on the 10th-11th or 12th. If he makes the price right and I get a chance to see it, I'll pay cash for the bike. Later!
