Update on the Des Moines pool scene

On a side note, we didn't see the two "best" players in Des Moines up there trying to get any action. I saw Troy H., Theo, Jason C., Mike H., and Jamie F. trying though. I'm sure I'll make someone upset by saying this, but I'm just saying what I did see and what I didn't. Have a good day everyone!!

On the way back from Olathe to the QC, Des Moines is a perfect place for a bathroom break. I am struggling today but it was good to sweat.

Happy Hump day everyone! What is the projected turn out for the one pocket tourney this Saturday? When does it start? I have to work, but am going to try to figure out a way to make it...

I'll be up tonight practicing at bd's. Sorry I misses the action too. I MISS THE POOL HALL FUN! I love watching the boys play. It's always entertaining.

Yeah man it was fun and I got a chance to really interact with people that I just knew in passing before then. I also found out there is a such thing as commentator groupies, I may have to elaborate on this in a future thread. All I can say is girls have a lot of heart even if your woman is sitting next to you. I was adjusting the camera at one point and accidentally gave everyone a boob shot of my chica, that was super funny too.

I don't really know Bruce. Break contest will start at 2:30 and the one hole will get going at 3. I have flyers posted at Big Dogs and I'm hoping for a decent turn out. I think we will get around 16 folks but hopefully a few more. Bring $50 with you and you will have at least 4 ways to win money.

Nice to meet you too, you're cool as a fan. Look forward to the next time and good luck overseas. I thought about it maybe you should keep Jay on the clock for breakfast, getting ready, just normal daily activities so he doesn't slow play the whole pool room lol. Did he ever buy the wings on Sunday, he studied the food I bought for about 2 mins it was pretty funny.
 
So who all is playing on Saturday in the one pocket tourney?? Found out today that Mike and Jody won't be supporting another tourney in Des Moines...imagine that! Anyway, hope to see a bunch of you there!

I have to work till 4PM, so it doesn't look like I will make this one....
 
Lets hope it takes off then, so I have one more thing to look forward to when i get home next month. I always look forward to making a donation. GL this weekend to all the entrants.
