update on the Lizard Acres pool scene

Todays update

Arter a slow start our traveling league was able take control of their
match with Paradise by a score of 39 to 33. Normally we only like to show about 70 to 75 percent of our true speed but we had to let it out a little more to overcome our slow start. It's not that we lay down the lemon to hustle anybody but we like these guys and we do not want to destroy them and ruin their day. I played a couple of 1-hole racks with
Blind Jerry after the team match but lost. I just didn't have the nuts after our mediocre showing against Paradise.

Lenny, me afraid? Au contraire mon ami! I have invited you here before for our one-pocket match
and I invite you again. Same game , same stakes. You'll like the room.

Until next update, Adios. George the Jump

What is the tightest table you have there?

Well!

What is the tightest table you have there?

That's sort of a personal question ,Lenny. Why do you ask? We would play on the same table anyway. By the way, we play for free. So when you take my money ,as you probably will, you wont have to pay for the table time.
Besides, with my stroke and my eye ALL tables are tight.:bow-down:

yo,Lenny the Lock

Would like to go out there and play some of you young bucks some one pocket sometime even if its cheap $5 a game. ;)

P.S. Do not be scared 12310bch, 10-6 is an easy game for you as I cant even hold a cue right!:embarrassed2::(

We can help you out, Lenny. Coach Dave is a certified instructor as well as being a certified lunatic. He can show you how to properly bridge a cuestick. Probably raise your skills a full ball. But then, of course, I'd need more
weight.

somewhere near there

You know what, I'll bet you give Des Moines Nebraska a run for their money
in size. Now, Des Moines Iowa...............Not so sure.

Iowa a state? I thought it was a city in Nebraska? I'll be damned.:withstupid:

New boys

Not really new but they need to be added to the list of action heroes:boring:that we have here in Lizard Flats; Tight Pockets Grant, and Kansas City Joe. Since Joe is an excellent bowler along with being a skilled stickman I wanted to call him ,"BIG BALLS JOE, but for some reason he didn't feel it was appropriate. He said someone might think he was a 3C Billiard player.(A fate worse than death itself, buncha snobs) We limit them to one table here to keep them from proliferating.

can you swim?

Actually my address is Sun City and from my front door to the center of Lizard Acres is 4.7 miles (according to google maps). Just have to walk past Stardust Golf Course and cross over Pebblebrook Golf Course.

Don't know exactly where your located but won't you have to take the ferry across the Agua Fria River? Either that or swim it and it's to cold in the winter.

I can't help it.

I gotta ask...

Are there any lizards in Lizard Acres?
How about Lizard Flats?
If yes to both, do they get along?
How far do they have to walk to get to each other?

There is no Lizard Flats Arizona. But we do have Lizards in Lizard Acres, and an occasional Rattlesnake or two, mostly Western Diamondback or Mojave Greens, that make it past the Road Runners.

Actually, blah blah, they have been hunted almost to extinction. They make a superb cerviche as an appetizer. You've probably tasted them in Mexican restaurants and didn't know it. (they don't really walk. They scuttle.)

Just so this relates to pool, not much happened in our room today. Played some 8-ball (yuck) I played well. A good player, Mike, arrived from Minnesota or some where up there in Canada, who shoots very strong.
Anyway, too-da-loo for today. George the Jump:yes:

I can walk to Lizard Acres from my house.

Jason, you'll have to come over and we can check out all these hustlers. Bring some quarters as they like to bet it up.

I can bring my live stream equipment![/QUOTE/]

urban road warriors!!! im in for a saturday trip to the west side!!!

caroms

Something I didn't mention from last week that deserves attention. I do play at 3C billiards on occasion to take a break from scratching all the time. But it does give me a headache if I play too long. It's like soccer for me. There is always too much time between scores. Anyway, I was playing the usual game with 3-ball Larry. He's probably the best in the house. Of course there
aren't hordes of 3C players around, thank goodness ( pains in the ass) On a race to 15 he gives me 5 on the wire and 2 chances on the break. To even things out I take the yellow ball. Why 3c players value shooting with the white ball so much, I'll never understand. We always bet a few bucks because I like him to shoot somewhat serious. Well , he ran a 9 ,that's right , a N-I-N-E on me. The things people will do for a few bucks. He deserved a round of applause and he got it from me ( along with my money). Of course it being 3C billiards all the railbirds were asleep and missed it . Too bad. But way to go Larry!

new style

I'm going to post a little different because I'm finding the same problem here that desmoines Neb. Had when I attempted to keep up. So people don't have to read through the thousands of post that will build up I'll thread at each update along with a subject or date so interested people may share without wading through what is mostly lies and bullshlt anyway. I'll try that now.

Save your GAS MONEY the Room is OFF LIMITS, is only OPEN to Members, and Guest of Members. Try and SNEAK, and you will be BUSTERED, and the Sheriff will book your sorry A----s into 4th. Street Jail. This is Private Property, and we do not allow Cameras, or Streaming Equipment.

YEAH....you'll be BUSTERED for sure.

More people with 'strokes' out there than anywhere in Az. Just check with Boswell Hospital for more info.
