Tristan is the 12 year old brother of Taylor Hansen who won the womens 10 Ball event here. Both are sponsored by Kamui and OB. Both are credits to the game in their conduct ad actions as far as I have seen. Should be fun to watch these two progress.

Have to say I love watching 8 ball. Easily my favorite game to watch the pros or great players play. Yeah there is a ton of runouts, but it is nothing like the boring rotation cosmos. Most of the time these guys are bumping balls, playing difficult shape to run out. There's way more pressure to run out in 8 ball and it's harder to play safe so most of the time these dudes go balls to wall to get out. That's what you want as a viewer.

I have to agree 100%. This is the first time I've really watched the whole thing and it is awesome. One of the best matches was Shaw/Ignacio. Shaw gets down 3 -1 and then comes back to only just fall short. Great stuff.

Justin or Ozzy -- if you are reading this --

Throughout the Knoll/Deuel match, Ken Shuman kept making a mistake, saying that every one of the first 8 games had been a break-and-run. [Then the final game was not a B&R and Corey won the final game on Knoll's break when Knoll scratched while making the 9-ball on a tough cut.]

But the first game was not a B&R. Knoll broke and played safe. Deuel missed a jacked-up attempt to pocket the 2-ball along the head cushion. Knoll then ran out with stripes. So it wasn't 8 B&R's in a row, it was 7 (Games 2 through 8).

Since the play was so good by both players, I have a hunch Ken will repeat that mistake at some point in future commentary if he is not advised of it.

Thanks.

I will discipline him appropriately.

USBTC- justin and CSI crew

Mr Justin and his crew did another outstanding production at the USBTC held in Reno.

All the talk about players not showing up and all that just didn't occur. This was possibly the best event ever.

The buzz has been amazing and the support hit a new high.

Ric Jones and Bad Boys crew, Ozzy and the CSi crew all did their job to the highest levels. I'm not gonna list all the names (I don't know who all is there) - but everyone is appreciated.

As most know, I am not there but I got to follow some of the goings on - and I am very proud of the whole crew.

Way to go guys!(and gals).

And a special thanks to all the players for taking your best shot! We really appreciate it.

We will get the info put for next years event as soon as we can.

Thanks to everyone!

This McKay Ignacio match is nuts. Both players are breaking and running out. Ignacio making it look easy. McKay making some circus outs.

Ignacio won the hot seat match. Perhaps it is now safe to say that he is the real deal after a shaky start when he first arrived in the USA for the DCC last month.

Is 8-ball that popular in the Philippines?

I hope we see Jeff Ignacio, Johann Chua and even Anton Raga in the US Open.
