Some may consider that an advantage. Myself, I don’t think players get any great benefit from a “day of rest”. Some might, but 9 ball is not exactly a strenuous activity and many benefit more by being in stroke later in the week from just continuing to play.No advantages? Most of them had a day off to rest. And they're also guaranteed to draw a player in the round of 64 who did not have that luxury. I'd call that an advantage.
