Anyone know when the matches begin today? I believe the winner's side begins @ 1:00 EST, but I presumed the one-loss side would be beginning by now.

Hats off to Jerry and Mike!

I was fortunate enuf to get to the Open and meet Jerry. This guy is sitting on a cheap hard chair, up on the highest bleacher, behind a Mac on the table with 7 empty cups of coffee for 32 hours a day (or something ridiculous). His head is on a CONSTANT swivel overlooking 16 tables over the wide expanse. Each table keeps score on these grapefruit sized color coded balls. Yellow =1, blue = 2, etc on up to the hill-ball that is a 10 ball.

I went up and introduced myself and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation Jerry! I had no idea your Uncle was Whimpy Lassiter. Thanks for the studly effort you are putting in for us all!

And thanks to Mike too who is busting his nuggets in a bazillion ways as well. He was busting it on a software problem when I got there. The work these guys put in that lead to so much info and enjoyment for us all...
