US Open pairings....................

Four American byes out of 24: SVB, Fedor, Tyler, and Skyler. Barry Hearn plays Konrad Juszczyszyn first round. Earl Strickland plays Mike Delawder. Lots of interesting matches up ahead.

Will be interesting to see how Dechaine gets on.

Disappointed to see no Bergman.
JB has no interest in this anymore. Hasn't for a while now. His days of chasing big table glory are over. He plays locally and a bit in the Midwest but that's about it.

If the AzB database is accurate, his 37th birthday is tomorrow. Still time for him to change his mind again.

Don't bet on it. He hates to travel. I know guys that see him in StL and he has no interest to do the traveling pool player gig anymore. He's had all kinds of offers but prefers just to stay home.

Mike Dechaine continues on the 1 loss side after 7-9 against Lee Vann Corteza (match 44)
He won a no-show against Ante Sola (match 277), and will play Masato Yoshioka tomorrow (match 341)

they'll get really bored really quik checking out my on-line endeavours. well maybe the lithuanian midget porn and how to make your own plastic explosives might pique some interested parties. ;)
I'm not accusing them of unethical acts...just profiting off your e-existence.

Bummer. I have played this event the last three years. I sat this one out because they didn't open registration and only ran qualifiers, or at least that was my understanding. To see open spots in the field when I would have loved to have played is a bit disappointing.

Oh well. Matchroom knows what they are doing. They'll be fine. Just a loss for me.

They did open registration last week after failing to fill the field. Was a bit too late for most people who might have otherwise been interested though.

Apparently, Alex will be playing Alfred next….
