Having spent almost 28 yrs straight playing this game at all levels, I've noticed the wear and tear upon a few TOP pros that are not that old by any means, they play different than the did in their prime and I'm not talking about Shane.
The game/lifestyle/travels/bad rolls.... take it's toll, we're all human.
Some can handle it, not All.
FSR is not the player he once was.
Albin Oshcuan, he's changed allot.

Niels is good, Toasty is too, but the others at the top, after 20 yrs this game ''wears'' on yah. ALLOT, it's showin on a few. Been there many times.

Is it really better to get whole grain white rice, vs the instant/ enriched stuff?

I'm not sure it is.

Don't even get me started on brown rice.

I think one of the issues is the globetrotting that is now an integral part of being a professional.

As an example, of those who played in the WPC in Saudi Arabia, some went on to the World Games in China and then went to the US Open in Atlantic City. That's a lot of travel over a three-week period, and I wonder how they manage it. Now, some of them will go back to China next week for the China Open, before heading to a) Vietnam for the World 10-ball and the Hanoi Open, and b) the Philippines for the Philippines Open and the Reyes Cup.

Honestly, I think that it's hard not to burn out when this is what is asked of you.

Pool's global calendar needs to become more player friendly.
