Does that change the fact that Alcaide was the favorite cause he lost?
Jason
NO but if Chen had lost, at least a few would have said her Fargo was overrated. No one said that about Alcaide.

Is it settled that this will be the most difficult tournament to win in professional pool this year?
More than the world championship in Qatar?
More entrants...higher average Fargo rate (I'm assuming, not researched).
It appears on face value, Matchroom took the US Open to the highest level of rotation pool in the world.
Congrats to them. Very impressive.
I agree with everything except I like the single elimination final 64 I think it's a tougher road in the end ,, , they have done a good job I'd like to see viewership in the final 16 because as of now it's nothing impressive, Roys Basement gets what we have seen so farIs it settled that this will be the most difficult tournament to win in professional pool this year?

The more Asian and Fillapino in the end the better for the stream numbers,, no one else really cares that much ,Not back to back to back like this. But I get what you're saying. The next couple or rounds will be fun .

Agree. The stream has been awesome. I'm glad one of my kids let me use their Facebook account. Matchroom has done a great job here...except for that trophy. It is UGLY as hell.
Does single elim starts at 64 or 16?

It is hard to choose among the matches -- too many good ones simultaneously. It's so refreshing to see this event produced by a well-funded, professional organization and being played at a nice casino.
What is the in-person spectating experience like so far?
