Here is the streaming of the final match between Pedro Piedrabuena and Hugo Patino. Special thanks to Allen Hopkins and Paul Frankel. Commentators by Jim Shovak and Tom Rossman. Official scorekeeper Raye Raskin. Video provided by J.R. Calvert of Inside Billiards for an excellent stream with production/equipment help. And a special thanks to Andy Janquitto for his tireless work running the show with Paul Frankel disabled due to a terrible fall. (mend those ribs Paul)

Enjoy!

For those who will watch this match in two parts you will notice a big gap in the play at the end of Part 1 and may wonder "what happened?"

During the stream of the final match the connection on the professional stream from Inside Pool Magazine failed (you'll see BIG QUESTION MARKS ON SCREEN!) causing a gap at a crucial point in the match. Part 1 ends with Pedro at the table leading 24-21. Part 2 begins with Pedro at the table leading 30-22.

Fortunately, the dogloose renegade stream was running at the same time (from a different angle) and did not have any connectivity issues during the match. (We had plenty at other times... but the streaming gods smiled on us in the finals!) So we do have a complete end-to-end recording of the final game in the 2013 Nationals!

If you'd like to watch the match in its entirety, catch the play in that crucial mid-point, or just enjoy the game from another perspective check out the dogloose channel on uStream:

Other matches from 2013 are also up on the dogloose channel as well as matches from the 2012 Nationals and other events where we also streamed and recorded.

ENJOY!

Enjoy this montage of the Allen Hopkin's Super Billiard Expo 2013. There are some pictures of the USBA Nationals, vendor booths, proplayers, trick shots, and a ton of good pictures of this great event!

Thanks to Allen and Alkatraxx Films.

You have it backwards, the other players, make it look difficult.
They don't play position on the simple shots, they're not taking advantage of certain starting positions!

Too bad that info is not available in print.

A concise book of position play sure would be nice...:D
