I know it's short notice, but it's the best I can do as things are moving kind of fast right now, but I'll be in Dublin, VA. Sammy Saunders pool room located at 127 Broad St, Dublin recovering the 5 Valley bar tables there. This is only a one day seminar for those interested in learning how to correctly, and easily recover that style of pool table. I'll be starting work at 10am. If you have any questions, call me at 702-927-5689. I know it's short notice...but it's the best I can do at this time.

Wish I could make it up Glen but can't clear my schedule. Plus, action packed weekend with a ton going on close to home. If you're ever somewhere in the S.E. again, give a shout......and hopefully a little notice. Would love to have helped out up there!!

Change that to Saturday, didn't get out of the Diamond factory today soon enough to get some driving done, so I won't be there until Friday night, and starting work Saturday morning. That's OK Robin, we'll hook up sooner or later:grin:

Glen taught me his technique for bar tables about 5 years ago. I still use his methods today. I went from a okay at bar tables to the guy to beat. He teachs more than great techniques for covering the rails and bed with Simonis. He does leveling, shimming the slate, setting the rails with the formica, maintenance.

Thanks Glen.

I was looking forward to it Donny and know the education would be very helpful. I don't do too many bar boxes anymore but ironically was doing one Saturday morning. An older Valley 8' and the subrails are shot. Talked the guy into ordering Ridgeback rails and will install them sometime after they arrive. I still want to learn Glens glue down method and may pick up a few hints on rails. I'm pretty fair at them now so any improvement in technique would be to my advantage.

Tables

We all have improved our work with exchanging ideas, glen has made great effort to spread his table knowledge.
There are few skilled tradesmen when it comes to table mechanics, he is pushing the bar to make improvments to how the tables are worked on. I would love a table to play like new for many years to come even after there disassembled and put back together over the years.
Hats off to you sir'
