Valley Forge Repair Help ???

Can anyone who is a regular at the Valley Forge Expo please recommend the BEST person there to do shaft work. I have a couple of Brand new shafts I received direct from a cuemaker at 13+mm but would like them retapered and turned down to 12.7 -12.75mm. I am asking because I have done this before at V.F. thinking anybody there repairing cues should be able to do this without a problem but sadly had one of my shafts ruined by one person who does repairs there every year.

Well I hope that person wasn't Joe Blackburn or Steve Lomax because that's who I would recommend to do the work.
They do meticulous and pristine repairs.
 
Joe Blackburn, hands down. He did the leather wrap for my Schon in Vegas a couple years back, top quality.

charlies pro shop in dundalk maryland completely brutalized (lol, is that a word?) a shaft i had them turn down. imo, easier to just get a new shaft.
 
i can't speak about mr. blackburn as i don't know him but if he's getting that many good reviews he must be doing something right. steve lomax on the other hand is local here to GA. and he does all the tip, wrap (i use linen) and repair work on my cues and i have seen first hand his leather wraps. his work is flawless. he also builds a beautiful cue, oh yeah, and his jump cues are considered the absolute nuts by many people.
