I have a Royce cue dated 03/04. The cue is a dark stain with a very nicely done linen wrap. The cue is fairly plain but looks good. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

he's a cue maker from the PI right? i think he's one of the cue makers from the PI that i've heard good things about

I actually think it may be Royce Brunnell of OB-1 cues. I am told he made a few custom cues prior to starting OB-1. I could be wrong and it could be a PI maker.

Oh really? i ran into one of his cues about a year ago (pre OB-1).

post a picture man? does the cue seem to be low deflection? what does it look like?

OB-1 cues have not been around that long.
"Royce Gracie" cues came from PI.

i think he's trying to say it's a royce brunel (sorry if that's misspelled). he made custom cues before he started making OB1 shafts/cues

Royce Bunnell did make some cues before he switched to making the OB-1 shafts. I'm not sure how many he made, but shoot him a pm about it. His screen name is RBC on here. He's at the Derby right now, but I'm sure he's probably checking emails/pm's.

Just a little input: there were 2 Royce Gracie cues from the Phils that came out. Apparently, the 2nd guy used the name & success of the original maker since there were no patents & stuff. The original maker lost interest & let go of the project.

I haven't tried the 2nd gen of Royce Gracie cues but the 1st gen had great balance, finish, playability, & clean craftsmanship just like a custom cue for its price (even the Irish Linen was well pressed & truly smooth to the hands).
