$3,900 for the Sugartree I’m currently playing with. I’m 5-0 in APA 9 ball league play with the cue.
I guess now we now know what APA players need to win

For years I usally took a cue worth around 1000 to 2500 to the pool hall, but about
3 months ago I bought my daughter a 100 dollar South West knock off and it's one
of the best playing cues I've used.
So long story short I gave my daughter a 1975 Adam cue and confiscated her cue,
I couldn't help my self hell this cheap cue seems to make everything here lately LOL.

Im playing with a Scruggs 4 point that is an awesome player but I am a nervous wreck the whole time Im using it because Im afraid Im going to damage it. I am selling it and buying a $200 Schmelke.
It might depend somewhat on the reputation of the poolroom and the regulars that frequent it. In a nice room in a safe location, particularly after dark, I'd say the value of the cues of the regulars who play there who bring their own cues can range from inexpensive sneaky pete's up in to 4 figure custom cues. Some players who have tables at homes with really nice custom cues, may choose to use a less expensive cue when they head out to a poolroom, just to be safe.I know many people have very nice and expensive cues here. What would you
say is the value of the cue you take to the pool room for serious play. Not the one
keep at home.
What that a Kaiser cue? I don't know if they still make new ones but for a while they were recommended by a lot of people as a cheap good looking cue with a big pin.

No matter where I play, unless it's with guys I know and they won't leave the table, my cue is going to the bathroom with me, and usually it goes with anyways.
One exception is Classic billiards(near the super billiards expo) mainly if I'm playing Philly. There are a bunch of good guys there that make it easier to leave it at the table, plus the owner is always paying attention.

Worthless! I gave the cue I play with to my wife for Valentines day a few years back. If I sold it. She would spend the money on jewelry or something silly. Leaving me with nothing tom play with.

I'd strongly suggest buying that Schmelke before selling the Scruggs. And then only if you think the Schmelke is the best playing cue you ever had.
