Value of my table?

It's not a Gold Crown, that is a specific model, the Gold Crown 4 is the 4th generation of the model, which came out much later than 1954. Does not have anything to do with the crown icons on your table.

It's in great shape, but value is very tough to nail down for a used table. Going by a Gold Crown value in that shape, then dropping down a range in models, it's likely a $1,000 table if the rails are in good shape (still good bounce not dead). Most people would list something like this for $2,000 but I doubt it will sell for that much ever.

The year and model may be found on the frame, sometimes the slate. At least the model and size of table are often marked by the installer.

It's a VIP by Brunswick
I had one same legs, skirtings and rails as in your pictures.
Yours looks to be in great shape.
Someone antiqued white the table I had, it looked terrible but played great.

Hi,
You table is a Brunswick Windsor which is a home style table not a commercial table like the Gold Crowns. I would guess it would be worth about $500 if in good condition.

I was also thinking perhaps a VIP. I would estimate it is worth around $500-$800.

The playing area of a "9 ft" table measures 100" by 50" (measure the slate, not the rails etc).

Gideon

To add to this, measure from the nose of the cushion to the nose of the opposite cushion. A 9' table will measure 50" x 100".

Hold on, you made an account on azbilliards in order to find out the value of a table you got for "free" included with the house, which is in like new shape even though it's over 50 years old.

SO YOU CAN SELL IT?

BANNED! BAN HIM!!!

Tar and Feather also, plus maybe a wedgie.

Thank you for the info. I will look under mine to see if I can find a date stamped somewhere. I'm not positive about the year, that is just what the previous owners told me.

What is the proper way to measure the table? I'm thinking it's actually a 8.5 not a 9ft.

But yes it's in great shape and the rails bounce nicely. It was included in the sale of a high end home I just purchased. I really like it but I have other needs for the space. Plus I'm not good enough to play on this large of a table, haha!

Dale, I think you are correct based on searching VIP.

Here are some I found:

500 is low IMO. Ive seen many in far worse shape go for 500. I take it you are not a pool player by your question. My afvise is keep it. Play on it. But be careful could be addictive.

Brunswick changed their name from Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. to The Brunswick Corporation in 1960, introduced the new Gold Crown table in 1960 and introduced the B logo.

I had a VIP-like 46x92" table that I bought in the early 1970s.

Its a nice table, if you're looking to sell it for $500 please pm me, I might be interested if the rails are in good condition and behaving normally

I do like the game but this table is way too big for my skill level. I've tried playing on it and I am horrible. It is a beautiful table, just not what I would want. Plus I need the space.
