There was a thread posted about this yesterday but since Bill's name and his AZ name were not in the thread title, it wasn't getting many views so hoping more folks will see it now.

He was such a great guy and a superb contributor here; he definitely deserves more notice.

Here was the original thread from yesterday:

Don't know what happened to him but the op of that thread says he passed yesterday morning (Mon, 5-30) and I saw that Bill's last time on az was 4 am EST yesterday morning.

Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

RIP, Bill. You will be missed.

best,

This is certainly bad news. My sincere condolences to his friends, family and to all of his AZB friends of which I count myself as one. Rest in Peace, Bill.

RIP Bill. Now you can make some "4 rail kicks" when you get "home" ;)

Definitely a long time, solid contributor and he will be missed. Thanks for re-posting this Brian. Best wishes to his family.

I often wonder if the families of AZB members know about their membership in this microcosm that we subscribe to practically everyday?

A Gentleman's Gentleman

I have had the GREAT pleasure of playing with 3RAILKICK (Bill Worrell) in a pool league for the last several years. I can confirm that there was never an instant where he did not conduct himself with complete class, courtesy to his opponent and respect to the game. To know Bill was an honor for those who knew him. The term Gone Too Soon is such an understatement at this time. He will be missed by many. May those of us who had the good fortune to know him personally live up to his example. Godspeed my friend.

That is quite a testament!

"Depending on your life experiences, occupation, hobbies, etc...recognition and visualization of right angles/90 degrees/tangent lines at the pool table can be easy or not.

If one can see that a picture frame is hung 'straight'...close enough in my book.

I agree that given a nearly equal choice of little or a lot of cb travel for shape...less is more.

It is in those cases that call for lots of cb travel, that recognizing, using and modifying tangent line paths, combined with spin, cushions and speed, getting us around the table.

Especially, when the rock wants to roll...give it some guidance...then let it go.

Passing this tidbit along to new players, is the biggest favor you can pass along to new players."

Words of wisdom.
Rest in peace.

I remember that post and thought it was top notch!

Best,

This is very sad. He was a regular visitor to our chatroom and placed donations to us over the past few years. He always offered us his support during our streams and was a pleasure to see around the forums and chatrooms. He sent us an email a few months ago that he was having some health issues and would be around again as soon as he recovers.

We will miss you Mr. Worrell!

My deepest condolences to his family and friends! I enjoyed reading his posts.

If you see ginky, tell him Eli says hi
