Here is a true players cue. Vijesh just wanted maxium performance...well its complete. The forearm & buttsleeve are highly figured rosewood with the handle being a dense piece of curly maple. Rosewood has long been known for being an exceptional "hitting" wood, and this one is incredible. Combined with a nice 4oz shaft with a true old yellow westinghouse Micarta ferrule (yes it'll turn orange/yellow in time)...makes this an awesome playing cue.:smile:

Weight & balance issues. The brass SW style is quite a bit heavier. While the SW style looks more trick....you can not tell any difference in "hit" or playability. The older McDermott style has worked more than fine for many years.:smile:

Simply built to go to war with. Looks like a stiff taper with light front shaft.
Should hit crispy and move the cueball around easily.
I like the countersunk hole for the pin.
82 degrees?
 
I love everything about this cue, it's got personality...I like the finnish, not too blingy...classy...matches the figure of the rosewood well...good color phenolic and a brass pin to set it off...very nice.

Thank you everyone for the kind words...I greatly appreciate it. Reading how well others like my cues makes the long hours worth it. Often it turns what is a normal day, working until 2-3am...........into a labor of love. Many times I'm into my work and realize its daylight out again. Absolutely loving what you do makes missing sleep acceptable. Many times I'd rather be sitting at the table having dinner with my family or at a pool table with friends....but no, as a cuemaker you spend more time watching the router eat instead.
And Joey...you miss nothing my friend!:thumbup:

Hi Kevin,

Regardless of what anyone says your hardwork shows in your cues.I just had an opportunity to get a varney player in trade and i can say it plays as good as any cue out there.Keep up the good work, i am sure Vijesh would be more than happy.:thumbup:
