Here is a nice bocote & bloodwood player I just finished for my friend Rich. It came out perfectly at 19.25oz with no weight bolt. Juma ferrule & Kamui blk soft tip. Sorry we missed you tonight...but I got to play with it for a couple hours.:grin: I'd wager this will be your new full time player after you hit a few balls. Enjoy the pics buddy.:)

I had a couple people ask if this was Trav's blank...no its not. Trav's blank is pictured below...note it has phen collars bordering the handle wood. :smile:

Bloodwood

Does that bloodwood scream or bleed when you cut it?

19.25 with no weight bolt sounds perfect to me as well, but what do I know.
I just know what feels right after I chalk it.

Well I made it over to the Rainbow tourney & delivered the cue to Rich. I've known Rich for many years as he's always been a dealer/collector of fine cues. After hitting a few balls with his new pride & joy he manages to talk me out of every Varney in my new JB 4x8. He bought my player, my j/b, and my hustler cue. A good feeling that he stacked the cash up & wanted everything because this guy knows a little something about cues. My case was awfully light feeling on the way home. Rich has been on a tear of late winning the Rainbow & the Smokin'Q events...with some new Varney's in his hands now I imagine most of SC will be ducking this guy. Thank you very much Rich I appreciate your business.:smile:
I also had the pleasure to spend a little time with our own TravD. Trav is a superb gentleman & top notch player himself. Trav got to spend a little table time with a Varney in his hands & had a huge smile on his face. I think he's pretty stoked waiting on his new hardware as well. Overall an absolute wonderful evening. If anyone has the chance don't miss checking out Rainbow Billiards in Easley SC. A true old school poolroom where the owner is on hand & is the nicest guy you'll ever meet....he really makes you feel at home. Their tables are in wonderful shape with perfectly polished TV balls on every table. Rainbow in located right in the middle of downtown & feels like you actually went back in time as you stroll through the door. They have a weekly Thurs nite tourney that draws an ultra strong field of 40+ players. Without doubt, this cuemaker will add Rainbow to my list of frequent hangouts.:thumbup:

hey kevin,its a pleasure doing business with you.My cue was everthing you said it would be.......and that break jump,oh my my my ,what a monster.That full splice cue is the nuts......I tell you man ,your cues are the best hidden secret out there,well the secret is out now. your workmanship is like stepping back in time ,when a cue is made to play ,not to look at.I tell you man ,your cues are the nuts,with a capital N .Quality ,playability,and LOOKS...Thanks man.I'am been getting PMs and phone calls on you cues, got woke up this morning from a friend of mine in broken arrow,Oklahoma.
