Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!

Here is a cue that a lot of you have been interested in seeing. The cue was made originally for a customer requesting 56". He is currently short of funds and told me to sell it. I have a small deposit on it so I'm a bit flexible. Great chance to own a new cue at a used price. I added the SW style bem deco band above the buttcap and made a new shaft so the cue is now the standard 58". It weighs 18.5oz and has a 13mm shaft. The ferrule is Saber T by Tiger & the tip is an Everest by Tiger as well. The forearm and buttsleeve are alves & the handle is A+ birdseye maple. The cue features a 3/8-10 pin and mahogany phenolic collars & buttcap with dashed Micarta ringwork. The cue is an absolute fantastic hitting cue with premium playablity. No excuses here...its got it all. I honestly don't think it'll last long as I've had quite a few inquires already....just waiting to see the finished pics. The price includes Priority shipping in the USA. Make an offer as I'm going to sell it fast!
SOLD!!!

After all that, the cue really came out nice. That is some goos looking alves wood, too. Alves is one of my favorite hitting woods.

Thanks Joe! Alves is a favorite of mine as well. It was also one of Jerry Franklin's favorite woods too. I honestly believe the early alves SW pacifier cues were probably the best hitting cues ever made.

A fine looking cue here! I like alves too. It's high variation in grain makes for an unpredictable appearance though... This one looks very nice. This is the only time I've seen Atlas mahogany collars that I like. The whole thing is a nice looking package, and is a nice buy at that price!
